1月14日至16日，重慶市友城法國圖盧茲市副市長瓦爾蒂基耶率團來渝訪問。在渝期間，代表團分別與市交委、市旅發(fā)委、重慶機場集團和重慶市部分旅游機構(gòu)代表進行座談，探討促進雙方在航空旅游方面的合作事宜。

From January 14th to 16th， deputy mayor of Toulouse， France， was invited to visit Chongqing. During the visit， the delegation had discussions with representatives of the Municipal Transportation Commission， the Municipal Tourism Administration， Chongqing Airport Group and some tourism agencies in Chongqing to boost cooperation between the two sides in air travel.

5月8日至9日，重慶市友城斯洛文尼亞馬里博爾市市長費斯特拉維奇率團來渝訪問。訪渝期間，代表團考察了國家開發(fā)銀行重慶分行，就推動雙方在基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施建設(shè)項目上的投融資合作事項進行了商討。

8月23日，2018中國·重慶國際友好城市市長圓桌會議上，重慶市和巴拿馬巴拿馬省、重慶市巴南區(qū)和日本新潟縣三條市，分別簽署《建立友好城市（市省）關(guān)系諒解備忘錄》;重慶市經(jīng)信委與韓國首爾市簽署了關(guān)于在大數(shù)據(jù)、信息化、智能化等領(lǐng)域的合作備忘錄;烏拉圭圣何塞省發(fā)展局和重慶市教委簽署教師派遣合作協(xié)議。

On August 23 when the 2018 Mayors’ Roundtable for International Sister Cities of Chongqing，China， was held， Chongqing and Panama Province， Banan District of Chongqing and Sanjo City， Niigata County of Japan， signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Establishing Sister Cities （City and Province） Relations respectively. The Chongqing Economic and Information Commission and the Seoul Metropolitan Government of South Korea signed a memorandum of understanding on the fields of big data， information technology， and intelligence; the San Jose Provincial Development Bureau of Uruguay and the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission signed a teacher dispatching cooperation agreement.

8月29日至9月5日，羅馬尼亞國家電視臺節(jié)目主持人瑪麗娜·阿爾瑪善一行來渝訪問，拍攝了重慶代表性的美麗風光及火鍋、小面等美食，采訪了重慶文藝、體育及時尚界人士。市友協(xié)副會長王廣成向阿爾瑪介紹了重慶的相關(guān)情況，希望通過她宣傳重慶這座“山水之城、美麗之地”的歷史、文化及發(fā)展成就，讓更多羅馬尼亞人了解重慶，并以此為契機推動重慶與羅馬尼亞的交流。

10月15日至19日，以阿蘭·拉巴特主席為團長的法中友協(xié)聯(lián)合會代表團來渝訪問，全面了解“一帶一路”建設(shè)的深刻內(nèi)涵，以便更好地在法做友華宣傳工作。

On November 12， Chongqing and the city of Cincinnati， U.S.A signed a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of friendly and cooperative relations. The two sides will work together to support and promote the development of mutually beneficial and friendly relations in an all-round way and establish an effective cooperation mechanism for the establishment of friendship.

11月18日至22日，重慶市友協(xié)交流團赴日本訪問友好城市廣島，并出席“第16屆日中友好交流會議”，與會代表圍繞會議主題“新時代、新作為—共創(chuàng)中日民間友好交流新局面”深入探討，并共同發(fā)表《岡山宣言》。
