冒險、歡樂和小小的魔法，這是悉尼百年紀念公園內(nèi)全新兒童游樂的創(chuàng)造要素。伊恩波特野趣游樂公園由澳派景觀設(shè)計工作室設(shè)計，在2017年10月由新南威爾士州環(huán)境與遺產(chǎn)部部長兼當?shù)卣块LGabrielle Upton 宣布正式對外開放。

野趣游樂公園位于百年紀念公園學(xué)習(xí)中心，旨在為所有2～12歲兒童提供全新的學(xué)習(xí)體驗。植物園探索區(qū)占地6 500m2（相當于一個橄欖球場），在茂盛濃密的灌木和樹木中有穿梭其中的跑道和小徑，原有的無花果樹連同坐凳被保留下來，為人們提供林蔭下的休憩之地。

在野趣游樂公園內(nèi)，孩子們可以跟隨著自流的溪河和噴泉找尋茂密的竹林，在如游動鰻魚般的蜿蜒小徑里探索無花果樹林，或鍛煉毅力，穿過平旋橋、攀爬樹屋。

“孩子喜歡發(fā)現(xiàn)、挑戰(zhàn)、運動和冒險。他們在自然中就會很開心，可以玩水、爬樹、在水池里跳躍、在樹林里捉迷藏。這是我們作為父母的本能告訴我們的，而我們作為設(shè)計師則是把這些觀察融入工作中。”——澳派景觀總監(jiān)兼悉尼科技大學(xué)客座教授Sacha Coles說。

“竹林、山龍眼灌木叢和洞穴是體驗躲藏、被包圍、躲避和迂回行進的地方，而水游樂是沉浸其中、輕松、歡樂和驚喜的地方。樹屋是感受刺激的地方，讓你走出自己的舒適圈。隧道則讓你體驗穴居動物的生活?！?/p>

在伊恩波特基金會的支持下，經(jīng)過3年的時間，野趣公園終于建成。在其基金會下有一處兒童花園，位于墨爾本皇家植物園內(nèi)，自2006年開放以來成為極受歡迎的目的地，僅在2016年就吸引了20.7萬游客?；饡?、百年紀念公園和澳派景觀設(shè)計工作室希望通過本項目呼吁創(chuàng)新和卓越，關(guān)注社區(qū)健康和兒童學(xué)習(xí)，特別是鼓勵和培養(yǎng)孩子的積極性和好奇心。

4 引人注目的植栽作為野趣公園的入口Striking planting denotes the entry to the garden.

5 東郊金錢草灌叢種植包圍著竹林隧道。隧道則讓孩子們能夠體驗穴居動物的生活Eastern Suburbs Banksia scrub planting envelops bamboo tunnels. The tunnel provide opportunities for children to experience becomin g a burrowing creature.

7 在高聳竹棚中的定制樹屋包括上下2個“鳥巢”，上部的是一個觀察點和入口The custom tree house high up in the bamboo canopy includes a lower and an upper ‘nest’,the upper is a look out point and entrance to the slide.

8 由一系列木制平臺、一座搖擺橋和一個階梯木所組成的定制樹屋。園內(nèi)的樹屋供孩子們鍛煉毅力The bespoke treehouse accessible by a series of timber platforms, a swing bridge and a stepped log. A tree house for taking exercise and testing kids’ mettle.

9 一個藏在竹林里，由肯亞棕櫚和沙子組成的空地提供了一個驚喜Hidden within the bamboo grove, a clearing comprised of Kentia Palms and sand provides a surprise.

Risk, joy, and a little magic are the essence of a new children’s playground in Sydney’s Centennial Parklands.

The Ian Potter Children’s WILD PLAY Garden by ASPECT Studios was officially opened in October 2017 by NSW Minister for the Environment, Local Government and Heritage,Gabrielle Upton. Located within Centennial Parklands Learning Centre, WILD PLAY is designed as a learning experience for kids of all abilities aged 2-12. Its botanical adventure covers 6,500 m2(roughly the size of a rugby field) with tracks and trails winding through densely planted mounds of shrubs and trees, with existing fig trees incorporated for seating and shade.

13 不可思議美妙的植栽調(diào)色板創(chuàng)造了獨特的植物群落，并定義了游戲空間。另外，保留下來的高大喬木，也為林下活動的游客提供了天然遮蔭The weird and wonderful planting palette creates unique plant communities and defines the play spaces. Retained trees provide shade for visitors who playing under the forest.

14 野生游樂空間是花園中的教育空間，也是一個用天然材料建造臨時建筑的地方。這將是真正的實驗、想象和通力合作的場所The WILD PLAY space is an area for education in the garden as well as a place to build temporary structures with natural materials. This will be the place for real experimentation, imagination and cooperation.

WILD PLAY lets kids adventure through an artesian water basin of creek beds and fountains,tunnel their way through thick bamboo, navigate a balancing course in the form of an ‘eel’, snaking its way around fig trees, or cross a swing bridge and test their mettle climbing a treehouse.

“Kids like discovery, challenges, movement and adventure. They thrive on being in nature——playing with water, climbing trees, jumping through puddles, hiding in trees. We know this instinctively as parents, and as designers we build these observations into our work,” says Sacha Coles——ASPECT Studios Director and UTS Adjunct Professor.

“The bamboo forest, banksia scrub and caves are about hiding, being engulfed, ducking and weaving. The water play is about immersion,relief, joy and surprise. The treehouse is about the sublime——delightful terror! Pushing yourself to the limit of comfortable risk. And the tunnel is about imagining becoming a burrowing creature!”

Three years in the making, WILD PLAY was created with support from the Ian Potter Foundation,whose Children’s Garden at the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne, has been a popular drawcard since opening in 2006, attracting 207,000 visitors into the gardens in 2016 alone. A shared goal between the Foundation, Centennial Parklands and ASPECT Studios is to promote innovation and excellence, with a focus on community health and learning, and in particular——encouraging active, inquisitive kids.
