從普吉島說(shuō)起的故事
A Story that Began in Phuket
剛剛年過(guò)七十的比爾是最著名的泰籍美國(guó)人,父母上世紀(jì)就在亞洲奮斗的經(jīng)歷使他從小耳濡目染,1967年十七歲剛剛畢業(yè)的他就在曼谷創(chuàng)立一間小小的公司,取名“Minor ”,意為“尚未成年”,做些搞清潔、拉廣告的雜小生意;今天,Minor International的中文譯名是美諾國(guó)際集團(tuán)。
半個(gè)世紀(jì)以來(lái),比爾創(chuàng)立的美諾及其旗下的安納塔拉酒店集團(tuán),以及其它合作品牌的酒店投資運(yùn)營(yíng)已經(jīng)包括亞太,中東,非洲,印度洋,歐洲和南美的26個(gè)國(guó)家,159家高端度假酒店和中小城市酒店,酒店客房已超過(guò)兩萬(wàn)間。
直到此時(shí),Minor名字依舊,初心未改,度假、輕奢和精簡(jiǎn)始終是主題。

《酒店精品》受到邀請(qǐng),2017年秋天曾到泰國(guó)普吉島安納塔拉邁考度假村體驗(yàn)考察,一探美諾度假經(jīng)濟(jì)的真諦。
泰式安納塔拉度假村的構(gòu)建模式幾乎汲取了東南亞優(yōu)秀度假酒店的所有DNA,多年來(lái)已為中國(guó)客人所熟悉所喜愛(ài)。有所不同的是,有的度假村追求個(gè)人私密度,有的則定位為家庭度假村,靜與動(dòng)的區(qū)別明顯。從公共餐飲、運(yùn)動(dòng)、休閑和服務(wù)設(shè)施的極大豐富和完善上看,普吉島邁考安納塔拉大體屬于后者。
普吉島上有兩家安納塔拉度假村,一家在拉揚(yáng)Layan,以私密大型別墅為特色;這一家則是安納塔拉邁考Mai Khao度假村。邁考度假村擁有兩個(gè)完整的度假別墅組群園區(qū),更擁有自家獨(dú)享的落日海灘,以及景觀大師Bill Bensley(也是一位比爾)源自茂密原生態(tài)綠林演繹而來(lái)的精美景觀設(shè)計(jì)。特別是美諾集團(tuán)巧妙地將這里的91棟私人別墅和家庭公寓樓分區(qū)布局,兩種業(yè)態(tài)兼而有之,和諧相處,共享公共服務(wù)設(shè)施。在《酒店精品》看來(lái),一座座被密林綠叢隱蔽環(huán)抱的泳池別墅小院,和面向公共大泳池露天影院的連排家庭公寓樓,居然各自為政互無(wú)干擾,規(guī)劃設(shè)計(jì)之細(xì)致,真是心到功成。
更加引人關(guān)注的,還有設(shè)在邁考度假村的“安納塔拉度假會(huì)”。原來(lái),早已成為度假旅居項(xiàng)目開(kāi)發(fā)商的美諾國(guó)際,可不甘心單純經(jīng)營(yíng)度假酒店,還要“龍蝦三吃”。普吉島邁考度假村這兩年剛剛建起的度假公寓樓就是專門(mén)用來(lái)出售的,不是出售產(chǎn)權(quán),而是預(yù)售度假時(shí)間。每一位來(lái)此度假的客人都可以成為會(huì)員,一旦成為會(huì)員就能享受每年幾天至一周左右的免費(fèi)度假時(shí)間,會(huì)費(fèi)可以每年預(yù)交,也可以一次交納,從兩萬(wàn)到十幾萬(wàn)人民幣不等,得到的房間條件和優(yōu)惠待遇也就不等?!毒频昃贰酚浾呖吹剑燃贂?huì)大廳里前來(lái)咨詢的中國(guó)客人非常多,很多人感覺(jué)新鮮,興趣盎然。
這讓人想起美國(guó)人二十多年前推出的“分時(shí)共享Time share”預(yù)售度假交換產(chǎn)品,本世紀(jì)初傳播到亞洲發(fā)展,主要落地在東南亞國(guó)家比較成熟的熱帶度假酒店中,當(dāng)然以美國(guó)酒店品牌為主。“分時(shí)共享”需要為會(huì)員提供某個(gè)跨國(guó)酒店品牌全球關(guān)聯(lián)酒店的大量可選資源,會(huì)員隨時(shí)可以在自定的時(shí)間選到世界上任何想去的地方,才會(huì)感到物有所值。而且要有強(qiáng)大的數(shù)據(jù)系統(tǒng)和運(yùn)營(yíng)效率的支持,還要有誠(chéng)信環(huán)境和法律的保障。這幾年美國(guó)和世界上多個(gè)主流Time share互聯(lián)網(wǎng)平臺(tái)越發(fā)運(yùn)營(yíng)成熟,幾乎是英語(yǔ)國(guó)家度假會(huì)員出行計(jì)劃的必備幫手。

Mr. Bill, who has just passed 70 years of age, is the most famous Thai American. His parents' experience of making it in Asia in the last century made him business savvy. He had just graduated at the age of 17 in 1967 and founded a small company in Bangkok, named \"Minor\", which means \"underage\", and it is a small business engaged in cleaning and advertising service. Today, Minor has become Minor International Group.
For more than half a century, Bill's investment in hotel operations for Minor, its Anantara Hotel Group and other cooperative brands has included 26 countries in Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, Indian Ocean, Europe and South America, totaled 159 high-end hotels, resort hotels and small and medium-sized cities hotels, with more than 20,000 hotel rooms.
Up until now, Minor's name and initial intention remain the same; vacation, light luxury and simplicity are always the themes.
Anantara is Sanskrit, meaning \"infinity\", and symbolizes freedom and pursuit. Since the first Anantara Resort Hotel project opened in Hua Hin, Thailand, in 2001, Bill's wisdom and Minor's capabilities have quickly won the hearts of many collaborators. With the birth of this exclusive brand hotel, the wings of the eagle Minor began to soar. Anantara quickly targeted scenic spots throughout Thailand and neighboring countries, as well as several beautiful Maldives islands, the Minor began opening and operating all the new Anantara, China's Sanya and Xishuangbanna are no exceptions.
\"Hotel Elite\" was invited to experience the essence of Minor holiday in the autumn of 2017 at the Anantara Mai Khao Phuket resort.
Thai Anantara Resort's construction model has captured almost all the DNA of Southeast Asia's outstanding resort hotels and has been a favorite resort to Chinese guests for many years. What is different is that some resorts pursue personal privacy while others focus on family resorts. The difference between static and dynamic is obvious. From the point of view of public catering, sports, leisure and service facilities, Anantara Mai Khao Phuket resort generally belongs to the latter.

The resort apartment building that was just built in the Mai Khao Resort in Phuket in the past two years was specifically for sale. Instead of selling property rights, it is a pre-sale of resort time. Everyone who takes vacation here can become a member. Once you become a member, you can enjoy a free vacation time of several days to a week or so per year. The dues can be paid each year, or you can pay it once, from 20,000 to tens of thousands of RMB and so on, respectively, the room conditions and discounts received are also not the same. The \"Hotel Elite\" reporter saw that there were many Chinese guests coming to the resort in the lobby to inquire. Many people consider it new and interesting.
This is reminiscent of the American's \"Time Share\" pre-sale holiday exchange product launched more than 20 years ago. It spread to Asia at the turn of the century, mainly in the more mature tropical resort hotels in Southeast Asian countries, of course, mainly with the American brands. \"Time share\" service needs to provide members with a large number of optional resources from multinational hotel brands. Members can choose any place in the world at any time at their own discretion to feel the value for their money. In addition, there must be the support of strong data systems and operational efficiency, but also the integrity of the environment and legal protection. Over the past few years, the mainstream Timeshare Internet platforms in the United States and the world have become more and more mature and are essential helpers for holiday goers in English-speaking countries.
The Anantara Vacation Club in Phuket also engages in \"time sharing,\" but it doesn't ask for a large scale but for creativity. It may still be Minor's intention to do a Mini time share in its homeland, not only to make full use of its own conditions but also to double the use of its own resources to obtain returns. The pragmatism and the strategy of such grounded character are the keys to Bill's persistence and the success of Minor.
