        Research on Chinese E—commercial Development

        【Abstract】: Along with the economic globalization, more and more enterprises are paying more attention to development of e-commerce, which is an important opportunity filled with abundant business opportunities. The key to the development of E-commerce is to continuously improve core competitiveness and learning the practical experience from the overseas E-commerce.

        E-commerce means all kinds of business activities among the business bodies in the simple, quick and low-cost electronic way. Since the beginning of the new century, many of trades in China have started the development of e-commerce, and many traditional enterprises have scrambled for this newly born business.

        1. The Characteristics of Chinese E-commerce

        1.1 Promotion of Modern Service Industry

        With requirement of e-commerce application dramatically increasing, it promotes rapid development of modern service industry, including transaction service, courier services and other correlated services. According to incomplete statistics, the domestic express industries have more than 70% businesses from Internet retail distribution.

        1.2 Promotion of Enterprise Transformation

        With the popularization of e-commerce, more and more traditional retail enterprises actively advances the application of e-commerce and it acquires a great of achievements in concert with online and offline sources. Many old manufacturing enterprises have been online purchasing with e-commerce and it greatly reduces enterprises running cost.

        1.3 Promotion of Small Business

        Today, e-commerce transactions are also reached record high, which is becoming the enterprise competition in new field. Small business should seize the opportunity to vigorously develop the electronic commerce. E-commerce is the important content of national economy informationization. It is also the key to the development of small business. E-commerce is helping export-oriented enterprises to adjust market, inspire the processing enterprises development design brand innovation, guide the small business implement information management to have an irreplaceable role in many aspects.

        2. The Problems of Chinese E-commerce

        2.1 Imperfection of Rules, Laws and Regulations

        The appropriate policies, as fertile soil, can optimize the development of e-commerce. Because e-commerce is accompanied by the development of Internet developed in the emerging industries. The incomplete business rule has already been far from the development of E-commerce. The authoritative and comprehensive e-commerce laws and regulations are blank. The part of standard and rules are lack of the operability, and it’s difficult to regulate the transaction behavior of e-commerce.

        2.2 Safety Problems of Transaction

        As an open platform of e-commerce, we need to ensure truth of buyers’ and sellers’ identities, integrity and privacy of information in order to make equal transaction between sellers and buyers. But imperfect of the Chinese e-commerce technology and credit system often occurs credit issue of transaction. These issues make people cut-down the confidence of e-commerce.

        2.3 Low Efficiency of Logistics

        Logistics industry in China is weak, low efficiency and unstability, which is constraining the development of e-commerce. In China, the logistics industry is characterized with small, feeble sporadic now, and the service of logistics industry can’t meet the more and more requirements of e-commerce. This is mainly because of its low market concentration and low service quality. At present, because logistics industry in China started lately, the logistics always reflect the problems of infrastructure.

        3 .Suggestions on developing Chinese E-commerce

        3.1 Development of Enterprise Information

        In e-commerce ages, enterprise information is essential for e-commerce development, only with the technical equipment to get information which can obtain market information, understand market demand, grasp market trends and know customer requirements. In essence, e-commerce is using the Internet to change the traditional commercial mode. By establishing an enterprise resource planning system, the enterprise can realize the integration of intro-company information management and the external e-commerce. It can transfer of market concentration and reduce management cost.

        3.2 Development of China’s Logistics

        Logistics is the most powerful part of Amazon. The business relies on logistics, which is the soul of commercial activity. The aim of logistics is to satisfies customers. Therefore, China must vigorously develop the e-commerce logistics, and here are several effective measures to improve China’s e-commerce logistics.

        3.3 Development of China’s E-commerce

        In China, e-commerce from technical background becomes the front of the business. In the complicated international marketplace, enterprise should constantly promote core competitiveness of service to face a more changeable competition condition. Enterprise’s emphasis on customer service should not only pay much attention to customer superior but also should dig deep into customer demands. Hence, the e-commerce development in China requires attention to the service, and the Chinese government also needs to develop business social networking services.

        4. Summary

        All in all, e-commerce has been widely developed in the world. Therefore, both domestic and foreign countries should be adapted to the development of e-commerce. E-commerce, as an important model of economic, has become more and more popular and receives much more attention now. Therefore, how to develop e-commerce correctly and quickly has always been an important task and can not be ignored for China’s e-commerce enterprise.
