Born in Jieyang City， Guangdong Province in 1950， Yang Qixi now is the director of China Yinglian Society， vice-president of Guangdong Yinglian Society and member of Guangdong Calligraphers Association etc. He has studied the poem， antithetical couplet， painting and calligraphy at an early age， and received positive comments via participating in various exhibitions and activities. He founded the Jieyang Yinglian Society in 2006 and took the position of president since then.

楊祈西，揭陽人，1950年生，筆名叔子，自號石人，藝室自署“題月樓”。自少修習(xí)詩聯(lián)書畫，重傳統(tǒng)，求氣韻而避丑怪，詩、聯(lián)、書、畫在各類全國性活動中均有佳評。藝術(shù)辭條被收入詩、聯(lián)、書、畫辭典多部。2000年揭陽市文聯(lián)、詩社共同主辦楊祈西詩聯(lián)書畫展。2006年創(chuàng)立揭陽市楹聯(lián)學(xué)會并連任會長。2012年嶺南美術(shù)出版社出版《楊祈西詩聯(lián)書畫作品集》。

現(xiàn)為中國楹聯(lián)學(xué)會理事、廣東省楹聯(lián)學(xué)會副會長、廣東省書協(xié)會員。
