The Athenee Hotel， Bangkok Unveiled as a Luxury Collection Hotel

曼谷艾瑟尼皇家艾美酒店已于2017年10月正式轉(zhuǎn)到豪華精選品牌旗下，成為曼谷艾瑟尼豪華精選酒店。374間煥然一新的客房在皇家傳統(tǒng)風(fēng)格中嵌入本地文化元素，包括雨樹餐廳、戶外泳池區(qū)和四樓的多功能廳等公共空間也經(jīng)過重新設(shè)計，致力于成為曼谷最頂級地標(biāo)。

曼谷艾瑟尼豪華精選酒店全新的設(shè)計靈感源自泰國的拉瑪五世國王朱拉隆功（公元1853年 – 1938年）的女兒Valaya Alongkorn公主，即2016年去世的拉瑪九世國王普密蓬·阿杜德的姨媽。這位公主生活的年代正值泰國現(xiàn)代化改革浪潮，西方文化滲透到建筑、時尚與人際交往禮節(jié)等方面。曼谷艾瑟尼豪華精選酒店建在這位公主以前的行宮所在地，彰顯Valaya Alongkorn公主的獨(dú)特精神。

Plaza Athénée Bangkok， A Royal Méridien Hotel has been unveiled in October 2017 as The Athenee Hotel， a Luxury Collection Hotel， Bangkok. The refurbished 374 accommodations will incorporate elements of local culture and royal heritage， public spaces including The Rain Tree Café， outdoor pool area and function space on the 4th floor have also been redesigned to become one of the most prestigious addresses in Bangkok.

The Athenee Hotel's transformation was inspired by Princess Valaya Alongkorn， daughter of Chulalongkorn， King Rama V （1853 – 1938） and the aunt of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej， Rama IX. The princess lived during an extraordinary period of Thai history； a time of modernization， social reforms and Western influence through architecture， fashion and etiquette.The iconic hotel， which stands in the grounds of her former royal residence， will welcome guests with the spirit of Princess Valaya Alongkorn.
