CHINA SOUTHERN AIRLINES BUILT A “BED” FOR HIM ON BOARD

南航為他在飛機上搭了個“床”

On Feb 4th, a passenger who broke his left leg took a China Southern flight from Urumqi to a hospital in Beijing. Because he could not bend his leg due to the fixed plates, China Southern set a stretcher specially for him on board the plane. 2月4日，

At 10:30, staff from China Southern

Xinjiang Branch began work on taking apart one of the seats on board and constructing a stretcher for the passenger. In total it took more than an hour to make preparations.

當天上午10：30，旅客將乘坐的飛機抵烏魯木齊后，南航新疆分公司機務(wù)立即進行座椅改裝和擔架安裝工作，費時超過1個小時。

At 12:30, the ambulance staff carried the passenger on board in time, and let the cabinet staff push the passenger to the end of the cabinet and transferred him to the stretcher that was already set on board.

中午12：30，救護人員準時將旅客抬上飛機，乘務(wù)員將旅客推到機艙后部，并轉(zhuǎn)移到安裝好的客艙擔架上。

During the take-off period, there was a slope as the plane ascended, the passenger had to be set head forward. Thus, he could be head up and feet down to improve his comfort.

由于飛機起飛爬升時會有一定坡度，安置病人時一定要保證頭朝前方，才能始終保持“頭高腳低”的姿態(tài)，提高舒適性。

GUANGZHOU-VANCOUVERMEXICO FLIGHT WILL BE LAUNCHED ON APRIL 10TH

廣州-溫哥華-墨西哥航線4月10日開航

China Southern will launch a new service from Guangzhou via Vancouver to Mexico on April 10th. The flight number is CZ377/378, with three fl ights every week. The new fl ight takes off every Monday, Thursday and Saturday from Guangzhou at 23:30, stopping in Vancouver, Canada, and fi nally arriving at 5:15 in the morning in Mexico City; every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday it takes off from Mexico City at 7:45 local time in the morning, stopping in Vancouver and then arriving in Guangzhou at 16:30 the next day. There is a discounted price for this new route: it costs only RMB4800 yuan for a roundtrip. The price can also be lower if there are more than two passengers taking the flight together.

16% YEAR-ON-YEAR INCREASE OF PASSENGERS CARRIED DURING THE SPRING FESTIVAL

春節(jié)運送旅客同比增幅16%

The 7-day Spring Festival national holiday (from Jan.27th to Feb. 2nd), China Southern transported 1.77 million passengers and saw a year-on-year rise of 16%, among which the increases in Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqin and Xinjiang are all around 20% compared to those last year. The total amount of flights was 11,600, an increase of 9% on the previous year.
