還詩(shī)歌教學(xué)的本義
——譯林版《英語(yǔ)》八上M2 U7 Seasons of the Year教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)及反思

詩(shī)歌是語(yǔ)言藝術(shù)的精華，英文詩(shī)歌滲透著語(yǔ)言文化內(nèi)容和人文底蘊(yùn)。初中學(xué)生進(jìn)行英語(yǔ)詩(shī)歌學(xué)習(xí)，在學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)的同時(shí)，還要領(lǐng)悟詩(shī)意詩(shī)境，理解并初步運(yùn)用詩(shī)歌韻腳、詩(shī)歌節(jié)奏、修辭手法，感受韻律美、節(jié)奏美和語(yǔ)言美，從而進(jìn)一步提升學(xué)生的人文素養(yǎng)。

一、教材分析

譯林版義務(wù)教育教科書(shū)《英語(yǔ)》八年級(jí)上冊(cè)Module 2 Nature and the Environment中Unit 7（簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)M2 U7）的中心話(huà)題是季節(jié)。圍繞這一話(huà)題，教材在第一板塊 Comic strip&Welcome中以“Weather and seasons”激活學(xué)生對(duì)這一話(huà)題已有的知識(shí)儲(chǔ)備，學(xué)習(xí)有關(guān)天氣的知識(shí)，討論各自喜歡的季節(jié)及原因。在之后的第二板塊Reading中，教材呈現(xiàn)一首詩(shī)歌Seasons of the Year，此為本節(jié)課的教學(xué)內(nèi)容。

本課也是學(xué)生在教材中接觸到的第二篇詩(shī)歌。Seasons of the Year以四季變換入手，抓住四季特點(diǎn)，描述季節(jié)之美。全詩(shī)分為四個(gè)詩(shī)節(jié)，它語(yǔ)言凝練、韻律和諧、主題鮮明、意境優(yōu)美。

二、教學(xué)目標(biāo)

本課將詩(shī)歌閱讀教學(xué)定位于“賞讀”，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生從品味、欣賞的角度進(jìn)行閱讀。通過(guò)學(xué)習(xí)，學(xué)生能說(shuō)出詩(shī)歌韻腳、節(jié)奏方面的特點(diǎn)，能賞析擬人化的修辭手法，并找出相應(yīng)詩(shī)句，品味詩(shī)歌的韻律美，感受節(jié)奏美，體悟語(yǔ)言美。

三、教學(xué)過(guò)程及設(shè)計(jì)意圖

課前循環(huán)播放一段四季變換的視頻，同時(shí)教師介紹自己，與學(xué)生相識(shí)，一起走進(jìn)師生共同的學(xué)習(xí)場(chǎng)。

Step 1 導(dǎo)入

T：What’s the video mainly about？

S：It’s about seasons.

T：Yes，it’s about seasons，changes of seasons. We know a year is divided into four seasons.What are they？

S：Spring，summer，autumn and winter.

T：Right.Now let’s have a brainstorm.Please use adjectives and nouns to describe different seasons.

S1：Spring is warm.

S2：Ice cream.

T：Oh，you mean summer reminds you of ice creams.

S3：Autumn is yellow.

S4：Winter is cold/cool/rainy/snowy...學(xué)生用了很多詞匯來(lái)描述四季。

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】課前播放的視頻自然而然地把學(xué)生引入“四季”這個(gè)話(huà)題。導(dǎo)入環(huán)節(jié)中用頭腦風(fēng)暴的形式，讓學(xué)生在快速搜索已有知識(shí)的過(guò)程中，用學(xué)過(guò)的形容詞和名詞分別描述四個(gè)季節(jié)，主動(dòng)思考四季的不同特點(diǎn)，聚焦本課主題“四季”。

Step 2 詩(shī)歌賞讀

（1）Feel the tone of the poem by listening.

T：Listen，Millie is reading the poem“Seasons of the year”.Please keep your eyes closed and listen.

T：Maybe poems are always as beautiful as pictures.Now let’s enjoy the video of the poem with our eyes wide open.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】通過(guò)先閉眼聆聽(tīng)，再睜眼觀(guān)看的形式，讓學(xué)生聽(tīng)讀感知，走進(jìn)詩(shī)境。閉眼聆聽(tīng)時(shí)，學(xué)生就有了強(qiáng)烈的期待，睜眼觀(guān)看時(shí)，激起了更強(qiáng)的學(xué)習(xí)欲望。這一設(shè)計(jì)，抓住了學(xué)生的好奇心，以?xún)?yōu)美的詩(shī)句配以歡快清新的音樂(lè)和唯美的畫(huà)面，激發(fā)學(xué)生進(jìn)一步深入賞讀的渴望。

（2）Understand the meaning of the poem by referencing the PowerPoint presentation.

T：After reading the poem，Millie is drawing pictures of the four seasons.Help her write the correct seasons in the blanks and then match each season with the descriptions in the poem.

T：Please read by yourselves and ask me for help if you have difficulties in understanding the poem.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】這一環(huán)節(jié)，先利用課本中的“詩(shī)畫(huà)匹配”練習(xí)，幫助學(xué)生結(jié)合文本，隨文識(shí)字，學(xué)習(xí)新單詞，再讓學(xué)生在自主朗讀中針對(duì)自己的理解疑難處，采用主動(dòng)提問(wèn)的學(xué)習(xí)策略，用語(yǔ)境和圖片幫助理解 shower，memory，drop，temperature等單詞。詩(shī)歌中有很多地道的詞匯和表達(dá)法，如April showers，sweet memories，lazy afternoons等，通過(guò)詩(shī)畫(huà)結(jié)合的學(xué)習(xí)方式讓學(xué)生實(shí)現(xiàn)內(nèi)化。整個(gè)詞匯教學(xué)的過(guò)程沒(méi)有打亂本節(jié)課詩(shī)歌賞讀的完整性，始終建立在“整體賞讀”的設(shè)計(jì)中。學(xué)生跟著視頻一起朗誦，讓學(xué)生進(jìn)一步體會(huì)“詩(shī)歌是語(yǔ)言的音樂(lè)”。

（3）Feel the rhyme and rhythm of the poem by repeatedly reading and reciting.

T：Is the poem beautiful？

S：Yes.

T：Why do you think so？

學(xué)生思考，但較少回答出來(lái)。教師引導(dǎo)。

T：Maybe one of the reasons is that poems have their own characteristics.What are they？

學(xué)生仍然深思，難以回答。教師繼續(xù)引導(dǎo)。

T：Now here’s a Chinese ancient poem.Maybe we can learn from it.（Show the poem《春曉》）

T：Thesewords “xiao，niao，shao”have similar sounds，and we call them rhyming words. Yes，a poem has its own rhyme.Words that rhyme with each other are often used in poems.

T：And we can stress or emphasize the words which are important.Make the stressed syllables strong， and the unstressed syllables weak and quick.So the poem has its own rhythm.The rise and fall of the voice in reading with rhythm means“cadence”.The rhythm and cadence of the poem delight our ears.

T：And they are the same as English poems.

（呈現(xiàn)翻譯家許淵沖的譯作：Spring morning/ This spring morning in bed I’m lying，/Not to wake till birds are crying，/After one night of wind and showers，/How many are the fallen flowers.）

T：Now can you find the words that rhyme in the poem“Seasons of the year”？

S1：Snow rhymes with grow.

S2：Away rhymes with day.

……

T：A poem has its own rhyme and rhythm，and they make poems beautiful.This time let’s read the whole poem together with music，feeling the rhyming beauty and the rhythmic beauty.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】這一環(huán)節(jié)旨在帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生走進(jìn)詩(shī)歌深處，理解詩(shī)歌特色。學(xué)生因?qū)υ?shī)歌知識(shí)的匱乏而產(chǎn)生了學(xué)習(xí)障礙，此時(shí)教師由引導(dǎo)轉(zhuǎn)向指導(dǎo)，明確指向?qū)W生的學(xué)。借助學(xué)生極為熟悉的古詩(shī)《春曉》，幫助學(xué)生了解詩(shī)歌的韻腳、節(jié)奏。

（4）Appreciate the beauty of the poem by doing detailed reading.

T：Besides the rhyming beauty and the rhythmic beauty，what other beauty can you find in the poem？ Can you find the language beauty？

T：That’s because the poet uses some beautiful words and phrases to make the poem beautiful. Now，let’s find them.

S：In the sentence“When trees and flowers forget to grow”，the word“forget”is special.

T：Is it like a person’s action？ Here thewriter uses personification to make the poem more beautiful.It gives human form of feelings，ideas to animals，or to inanimate objects.

T：Can you find more examples？

很快學(xué)生又找到了play，hide。

T：A famous poet says，“If you really want to know the poem，read it.Read it carefully.Pay attention，read it out loud.”Let’s read the poem in roles.I read the first stanza，boys the second，girls the third，and we read the last stanza together.

T：Practise reading the poem in groups of four. Please express your own feelings about each season and then present in class.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】從初讀、誦讀到細(xì)讀、品讀，在步步深入的賞讀過(guò)程中，學(xué)生對(duì)本詩(shī)的理解也在逐漸加深。這里設(shè)計(jì)了細(xì)讀品鑒、美點(diǎn)尋蹤，學(xué)生賞析了擬人手法，感受詩(shī)歌的語(yǔ)言美。設(shè)計(jì)師生分角色朗讀，既讓教師做了詩(shī)歌朗讀的示范，又拉近了師生距離，師生成為學(xué)習(xí)共同體。

（5）Have a discussion.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】詩(shī)歌賞讀最終都應(yīng)落實(shí)在學(xué)生的理解和感悟上，用各種方式帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生走進(jìn)文本，就是為了讓學(xué)生走出文本時(shí)能帶上新獲取的審美能力、新提升的人文素養(yǎng)和新拓展的審美視界。學(xué)生在學(xué)會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)美、感受美之后，這首小詩(shī)引起了他們心靈的共鳴。

Step 3 讀后運(yùn)用

（1）Put them into the right order.

T：A poem is how the reader reads.

A poem is how the poet writes.

A poem is real.A poem is fake.

A poem is anything.I make it mine.

（2）Complete the poem with “seen，return，room，sky”.（Spring by Robert McCracken具體內(nèi)容略）

（3）Try to be a poet.Try to write a poem about the season you like best.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】給詩(shī)句排序、填入詩(shī)歌所缺單詞，這兩項(xiàng)都需要根據(jù)韻腳規(guī)律，并理解詩(shī)歌內(nèi)容后完成。這實(shí)現(xiàn)了知識(shí)的遷移，既檢測(cè)了學(xué)生的課堂學(xué)習(xí)成效，又加深了學(xué)生對(duì)英文詩(shī)歌的了解。這一環(huán)節(jié)特別設(shè)計(jì)了詩(shī)味十足的語(yǔ)言，一方面使整堂課始終保持濃濃的詩(shī)味，另一方面告訴學(xué)生詩(shī)無(wú)達(dá)詁，賞讀詩(shī)歌沒(méi)有標(biāo)準(zhǔn)答案可循，詩(shī)歌理解需要主動(dòng)的個(gè)性化的感悟和思考。另外，讓學(xué)生在賞讀之余、意猶未盡之時(shí)，選取自己最喜歡的一個(gè)季節(jié)，當(dāng)一回詩(shī)人，過(guò)一把詩(shī)癮。

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】在課后延伸即作業(yè)布置環(huán)節(jié)，讓學(xué)生修改課堂習(xí)作，繼續(xù)創(chuàng)作小詩(shī)，并提供了英文詩(shī)歌網(wǎng)站，幫助學(xué)生保持濃厚的學(xué)習(xí)熱情。

四、教后反思

初中學(xué)生英語(yǔ)詩(shī)歌閱讀可以讀些什么？可以讀語(yǔ)言，讀文采，讀感情，讀思想，讀文化承載，等等。我想，詩(shī)歌閱讀就是要引導(dǎo)學(xué)生讀出詩(shī)歌的美，欣賞詩(shī)歌的美，享受詩(shī)歌帶來(lái)的愉悅和美感。

初中學(xué)生英語(yǔ)詩(shī)歌閱讀可以怎么讀？詩(shī)歌閱讀應(yīng)是基于詩(shī)性的閱讀，即尊重詩(shī)歌的特質(zhì)。最可能具有“詩(shī)性”的閱讀方式是體悟，“解釋”顯然不是詩(shī)歌閱讀的正確打開(kāi)方式。在本節(jié)課中，本著“多一些朗讀，少一些分析；多一些自我體驗(yàn)，少一些微言大義”的原則，筆者從聽(tīng)讀感知切入，讀悟交錯(cuò)，層層遞進(jìn)，設(shè)計(jì)了兩次聽(tīng)讀，兩次集體朗讀，一次自由朗讀，一次分角色朗讀，一次小組朗讀以及一次朗讀展示共八個(gè)層次的悟讀。我認(rèn)為，詩(shī)性的閱讀應(yīng)該是把所有的生命感官打開(kāi)，面向詩(shī)歌的意象和語(yǔ)言本身，通過(guò)誦讀得到自己切身的感受。此刻讀者不是單純的欣賞者，而是成為詩(shī)歌文本的生產(chǎn)者，讀者可以在閱讀的過(guò)程中產(chǎn)生創(chuàng)造的快樂(lè)。

詩(shī)歌是語(yǔ)言藝術(shù)的精華，英語(yǔ)詩(shī)歌滲透著語(yǔ)言文化和人文底蘊(yùn)。我認(rèn)為，初中學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)詩(shī)歌學(xué)習(xí)，是要在學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)的同時(shí)，還要領(lǐng)悟詩(shī)意詩(shī)境，理解并初步運(yùn)用詩(shī)歌韻腳、詩(shī)歌節(jié)奏、修辭手法，感受韻律美、節(jié)奏美和語(yǔ)言美，從而進(jìn)一步提升學(xué)生的人文素養(yǎng)。
