突尼斯青年之家是為青年提供學(xué)習(xí)、體育和文化活動(dòng)的中心，設(shè)計(jì)考慮在阿拉伯建筑風(fēng)格中融合進(jìn)中國建筑的特色。在錘形用地上，以內(nèi)庭園為中心，用軸線將室內(nèi)游泳池、劇場、體育用房三者銜接。各部分用房分合適度，空間構(gòu)成“外實(shí)內(nèi)虛”，外部形態(tài)富于雕塑感，色彩構(gòu)成適合當(dāng)?shù)丨h(huán)境，是在同一建筑中體現(xiàn)多元化的嘗試。

As an educational, sports, and cultural activity center for the youth, Tunisia Youth Center integrates the characteristics of Chinese architecture into the Arabian architectural style. In the hammershaped land, the design takes the inner garden as the center and uses the axis to connect the indoor swimming pool, the theatre, and the sports room. The design is appropriate in spatial division and rich in sculptural elegance. The choice of color is harmonious with the local environment. It can be regarded as a good attempt to demonstrate diversity in the same building.

王昀：建筑師以洗練的設(shè)計(jì)手法將青年之家的劇場區(qū)域和活動(dòng)區(qū)域分開。錯(cuò)落的體塊關(guān)系與作為背景而存在的突尼斯當(dāng)?shù)孛窬咏ㄖ橛痴?。建筑本身所呈現(xiàn)的運(yùn)用45°斜角來對(duì)體塊進(jìn)行“切”與“拉”的構(gòu)圖手法是建筑師本人特用的設(shè)計(jì)語言，呈現(xiàn)著濃郁時(shí)代特征的同時(shí)，也表現(xiàn)著建筑師試圖追求更多結(jié)構(gòu)與空間自由度的態(tài)度。

青鋒：建在別處意味著離開此地的可能性，脫離自己所屬的傳統(tǒng)、常識(shí)、價(jià)值體系，名正言順地跳入另外一個(gè)語境、另外一種文化，以及另外一個(gè)建筑世界。最美妙的在于，在這番游歷之后，建筑師還能夠回到以往的生活中，繼續(xù)以前的工作。在別處始終是在別處，而非此時(shí)此地。這也是為什么連續(xù)拱頂以及穹隆這些古老而賦有魅力的建筑元素只能在突尼斯青年之家這樣的工程中存在，而無法滲入中國本土建筑實(shí)踐的范疇之中。或許我們更需要的不是在別處的地點(diǎn)，而是在別處的心態(tài)。

WANG Yun: The theatre and the activity area of the Youth Center are separated by using succinct design techniques. The picturesque intricacy of the building blocks forms a beautiful contrast with the local residential buildings in the background. The 45-degree angle employed by the architect to produce a "cutting" and "pulling" effect is a unique design language of the architect, which shows the distinct features of the times as well as the architect's positive attitude towards varied structure and freedom in space.

QING Feng: To build elsewhere means the possibility to leave the place, to leave the tradition, common sense and value system of your past and jump into another context, another culture and another architectural world. Even more attractive is the guarantee that the architect can safely return to his old world and continue his old work. Elsewhere is elsewhere, not here and now. This is why continuous vault and dome –charming ancient architectural motifs – can only exist in architecture like the Youth Center in Tunisia, but not in any project in China. What is needed more is not a new place, but a new attitude elsewhere.
