For 35 years, Licensing Expo, sponsored by the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA), has connected the world’s most influential entertainment, character, fashion, art and corporate brand owners and agents with consumer goods manufacturers, licensees and retailers. Attendees come to spot trends, build strategic partnerships and secure promotional tie-ins. Millions of products across the world started life as a conversation at Licensing Expo, and this is where brand owners, licensees and retailers find the right partners to expand their businesses and create relationships.
In 2014, over three days, 15,702 licensing professionals attended the show, representing a 5% increase from last year’s event. The show featured 482 exhibiting companies in 218,872 net square feet with an additional 100,0000 square feet of conference and special event space used daily. Over 5,000 brands and properties exhibited/represented. Categories represented were: Animation/Anime/Manga, Apparel/ Fashion, Art Design, Automotive, Brands Trademarks, Characters, Entertainment, Food Beverage, Inspirational/Religious/Holiday, Interactive/Video Games, Not-forProfit/Charitable, Sports/Outdoors, Publishing, Professional Services to the Licensing Industry
15,702 attendees from over 90 countries visited the fair. They were: Licensees/Manufacturers, Retailers, Advertising/Marketing/Promotions Agencies, Art Design, Licensing Agents/Consultants, Licensors, Publishers/Printers, Wholesalers/ Distributors. Attendee Titles were: Owner/CEO/President, VP/General Manager, Buyer, Merchandising Manager, Creative Director/Designer, Business Development/Marketing.
In 2015, Licensing Expo, the world’s largest and most influential licensing industry event, is pleased to welcome new Pavilions and increased representation from countries including Mexico, India, China, Japan and the U.K. Licensing Expo takes place June 9-11 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. These new exhibitors join a growing list of international companies and featured Pavilions that include Brazil and Korea, with China and Japan significantly expanding their footprint at the 2015 show.
Brands from more than 35 countries will be represented on the show floor. Each Pavilion serves as its own commercial center, offering a full range of licensing activity, whether it be brands from that country looking to license out or resources for licensors looking to bring their brand into that region. ?
