丁國(guó)瑜

1931.09.19～

地質(zhì)學(xué)家。河北高陽(yáng)人。1952年北京大學(xué)地質(zhì)系畢業(yè)。1958年獲蘇聯(lián)莫斯科地質(zhì)勘探學(xué)院副博士學(xué)位。國(guó)家地震局研究員。1985年當(dāng)選為第三世界科學(xué)院院士。進(jìn)行過(guò)對(duì)中亞、海南島、華北等地新構(gòu)造及多個(gè)大地震的現(xiàn)場(chǎng)考察與深入研究；提出了地殼現(xiàn)代破裂網(wǎng)絡(luò)與我國(guó)地震活動(dòng)關(guān)系的模型；首先編制了中國(guó)活斷層的滑動(dòng)速率圖及現(xiàn)代板內(nèi)運(yùn)動(dòng)圖；在活動(dòng)構(gòu)造、斷錯(cuò)水系、古地震、活斷層的活動(dòng)習(xí)性、活斷層分段的研究，以及這些研究成果在重大工程地震危險(xiǎn)性評(píng)價(jià)中的應(yīng)用等方面做出了貢獻(xiàn)，是我國(guó)這些研究領(lǐng)域的主要學(xué)術(shù)帶頭人。1980年當(dāng)選為中國(guó)科學(xué)院院士（學(xué)部委員）。member,International Advisory Committee on Earthquake Risk of UNESCO,and chairman,Project 206 of“Comparison of Active Faults ”under the International Geological Comparison Program.

Ding has made field study and neotectonic research on many great earthquakes in Central Asia,Hainan island and North China,developed the model of relations between network of recent crustal rupture and seismicities in China,and is the first to compile the“ Map of Faulting Slip Rate in China”and“ Map of Recent Intraplate Movement ”.He has greatly contributed to the research on neotectonics,active tectonics,paleoseismology,active fault and evaluation of seismic hazards in major constructions.

He was elected Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1980.

馬杏垣

地質(zhì)學(xué)家。吉林長(zhǎng)春人。1942年畢業(yè)于西南聯(lián)合大學(xué)地質(zhì)地理氣象系。1948年獲英國(guó)愛(ài)丁堡大學(xué)博士學(xué)位。后長(zhǎng)期從事地質(zhì)教育工作，1978年調(diào)至國(guó)家地震局，曾任副局長(zhǎng)兼地質(zhì)研究所所長(zhǎng)、名譽(yù)所長(zhǎng)、研究員。1956年完成山西五臺(tái)山區(qū)域地質(zhì)調(diào)查。后在湖北、河南等省進(jìn)行了大量的1:20萬(wàn)區(qū)域地質(zhì)調(diào)查的基礎(chǔ)上，總結(jié)中國(guó)區(qū)域地質(zhì)構(gòu)造特征。關(guān)于中國(guó)前寒武紀(jì)地質(zhì)構(gòu)造的研究，對(duì)理解地殼早期演化、對(duì)找礦和和地震多震層的研究具有一定意義。提倡構(gòu)造解析方法和解析構(gòu)造學(xué)。強(qiáng)調(diào)中立不吻合密度不均在構(gòu)造過(guò)程中的重要性。對(duì)中國(guó)大陸內(nèi)部地震構(gòu)造與地震活動(dòng)性特別是裂陷作用與地震的關(guān)系等方面均有一定的見解和認(rèn)識(shí)。80年代開始從事巖石圈動(dòng)力學(xué)的研究和全球地學(xué)斷面的編制，取得一些成果。1980年當(dāng)選為中國(guó)科學(xué)院院士（學(xué)部委員）。

Geologist.Born in Changchun,Jilin Province.Graduated from the Department of Earth Sciences.Southwest Associated University,Kunming in 1942.Received Ph.D.from the University of Edinburgh,UK in 1948.Professor,Peking University and Geoscience University,deputy director and director,Institute of Geology,and deputy directory,State Seismological Bureau.

In 1956,he and his students carried out Wutai Mountains regional geological survey on the scale of 1:200,000 which was the first of its kind in that period.As the work going on,he concentrated on the studies of the Precambrian geology,regional tectonics and seismo-tectonics.He stressed gravity instability and density inhomogeneity in the initiation tectonic and seismic processes.He put forward many distinct opinions and realization on intracontinental seismotectonics and seismicity of China,especially on the relationship between rift faulting and earthquakes.

He was elected Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1980.

王 仁

固體力學(xué)與地球動(dòng)力學(xué)家。浙江吳興人。1943年畢業(yè)于昆明西南聯(lián)合大學(xué)航空工程系。1953年獲美國(guó)布朗大學(xué)應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)不哲學(xué)博士學(xué)位。北京大學(xué)力學(xué)系教授，1986年～1991年間任國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金委員會(huì)副主任。致力于固體力學(xué)和地球動(dòng)力學(xué)方面的研究，特別是在壓力加工塑性分析和理論、結(jié)構(gòu)的塑性分析和動(dòng)力響應(yīng)及動(dòng)力穩(wěn)定性，全球和區(qū)域構(gòu)造應(yīng)力場(chǎng)分析和地震遷移規(guī)律的數(shù)學(xué)力學(xué)模擬等方面做出了創(chuàng)新性成果，并對(duì)力學(xué)與地質(zhì)學(xué)、地震學(xué)的研究結(jié)合做出了貢獻(xiàn)。1980年當(dāng)選為中國(guó)科學(xué)院院士（學(xué)部委員）。

Specialist in solid mechanics and geodynamics.Born in Wuxing,Zhejiang Province.Graduated from the Department of Aeronautical Engineering,Southwest Associated University,Kunming in 1943.Received Ph.D.in applied mathematics from Brown University,USA in 1953.Professor,Department of Mechanics,Peking University,and vice president,National Natural Science Foundation of China.

Wang has devoted himself to the research on solid mechanics and geodynamics and made creative achievements on plastic theory of cold working,plastic dynamic response and dynamic stability of structure,analysis of global and regional stress field and numerical simulation of seismic migration law.He has made important contributions to the integration of mechanics,geology and seismology.

He was elected Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1980.

王 鈺

地層古生物學(xué)家。河北深澤人。1933年畢業(yè)于北京大學(xué)地質(zhì)系。中國(guó)科學(xué)院南京地質(zhì)古生物研究所研究員。在中央地質(zhì)調(diào)查所時(shí)曾調(diào)查煤田、天然氣等非金屬礦床，并對(duì)奧陶紀(jì)、志留紀(jì)和二疊紀(jì)部分三葉蟲有較詳細(xì)的研究，其中對(duì)揚(yáng)子區(qū)下古生界的研究成果，成為我國(guó)南方早古生代地層分類與對(duì)比的奠基性的工作。1949年后為研究我國(guó)腕足動(dòng)物群和南方泥盆紀(jì)地層做出了重要貢獻(xiàn)。經(jīng)過(guò)多年研究，寫成了《南寧——六景地區(qū)泥盆紀(jì)郁江期腕足動(dòng)物》等多部專著。1980年當(dāng)選為中國(guó)科學(xué)院院士（學(xué)部委員）。

Stratigraphical paleontologist.Born in Shenzhe,Hebei Province.Graduated in geology from Peking University in 1933.Research professor,Nanjing Institute of Geology and Paleontology,Chinese Academy of Sciences.

In those years when he worked in the Central Institute of Geological Survey,he investigated the nonmetallic ore deposits of coal,gas,etc.and made detailed studies on some of Trilobita of Ordovician,Silurian and Permian.His studies of Lower Palaeozoic around Yangtze Gorges and in Sichuan and Guizhou provinces laid a foundation for the division and correlating of early Palaeozoic strata in South China.Since 1949,he made important contributions to the study of Brachiopoda in China and of Devonian strata such as“ The Yujiang Age’s Brachiopoda in the Nanning-Liaojing Region,Guangxi ”.

He was elected Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1980.
