這座建筑的名字源于3個相互平行的獨立體塊和位于中間的一個室外空間。中間的空間將3座房子分隔開來同時又連接著它們。三平行宅包括左邊的“木房子”、中間的 “水泥房子”和右邊的 “金屬房子”。

這座建筑位于一個寬闊的家族場地上，包含6所父方親戚的房子。這6所房子均建于20～30年前，現(xiàn)在子輩們已經(jīng)成年，擁有了自己的身份和自己的家庭。于是，這座建筑也需要成長以應(yīng)對這些變化，同時繼續(xù)容納一個有著緊密關(guān)系的傳統(tǒng)家庭。這個項目對6座房子中的4座進行了重新設(shè)計和建造。

一方面，這座建筑作為一個大的家族住宅具有典型的功能需求，另一方面，它需要實現(xiàn)房主強烈的身份認(rèn)同感。這座建筑原本屬于一個三口之家：媽媽、兒子和女兒。兒子和女兒想要擁有自己的空間與他們新的家庭成員開展生活，但又同時“生活在一個屋檐下”。

建筑師決定創(chuàng)造3個獨立的線性房子，兩個大房子在左邊和右邊形成一個“私人領(lǐng)域”，較短的房子在中間與游泳池和戶外露臺創(chuàng)造一個“共享空間”，供所有的家庭成員聚會和享受家庭時光。

由于要比原來房子的面積擴大了許多，新房子的體塊充滿了整個基地。為了化解大尺度的體塊，讓設(shè)計更加人性化，建筑師選擇以成角度的線條勾畫出屋頂，從而減小了高度和正面的體量，并在中心庭院形成了一個更加有趣的天際線（屋頂與天空相遇的地方）。

建筑師為3座房子的面層選擇了3種不同的材料：木材、水泥和金屬瓦楞板。這不僅讓整座建筑保持較小的尺度，還賦予每個體塊以不同的個性。從概念設(shè)計到搬入新居，這個家庭從3個成員成長為6個成員，并還在繼續(xù)擴大中?！酰ɡ钊粜?譯）

The name of the house comes from the fact that there are three separate volumes of houses running parallel to each other with an intermediate outdoor space separating-and connecting-them. They are comprised of "the Wooden House", "the Cement House" and the "the Metal Sheet House".

The house is situated within an extended family compound of six houses that belong to relatives from the father's side. All six houses were built during the parent's time 20-30 years ago. Now the children's generation has grown into adulthood with their own identities and families. The house needs to grow to respond to these changes while continuing to accommodate a strong sense of a tight-knit family tradition. During the time of this project, there were 4 out of 6 houses that concurrently underwent new design and construction.

On one hand, the house has a very typical functional requirement of an extended family house while, on the other hand, it fulfills a specific request for the owner to have a strong identity of its own.The house originally belongs to a family of three: a mother, a son, and a daughter. The son and daughter would like to have their own place where they can live their adult lives with their new family members, but still be all "under one roof".

The architect decided to create three separate linear houses. The two larger houses on the left and right formed a "private domain" while the shorter house at the center, along with the swimming pool and the outdoor deck, created a "shared domain" where all the family members can gather and have family moments.

Due to a much expanded area requirement from the original house, the volume and massing of the new house fill the plot. In order to scale down the mass and humanize the approach, the architect has chosen to delineate the roof with angled lines, allowing not only the reduction of the height and mass at the front, but also the forming of a more interesting skyline (where the roof meets the sky) at the central courtyard.

The architect has also chosen 3 different materials to clad the three houses: wood, cement, and corrugated metal sheet. This approach not only helps keep the appearance of the entire house small, but also gives each volume its own identity. From the moment of conception to move-in, the family has grown from three to six members and there are more on the way.□

3 金屬房子/The metal sheet house

葛明：項目為位于泰國暖武里府的一處私人豪華住宅。建筑施工精細(xì)，將3種不同的材料——木材、混凝土和波紋金屬板結(jié)合在一起。設(shè)計最鮮明的特點在于清晰的平面劃分。為與設(shè)想的使用狀態(tài)相契合，住宅明確地由3條平行體塊構(gòu)成。建筑一層盡量通透，使3條之間產(chǎn)生視覺聯(lián)系，并融入庭院。稍有遺憾的是，建筑的功能構(gòu)成和體塊構(gòu)成相似，對于整體空間構(gòu)成還是帶來了一定影響，剖面上特點略顯不足。

李燁：精英式的尷尬

盡管這個房子雕刻了一個明顯的高能耗、高消費的精英形象，但是其在建筑手段和策略上卻并不成功。3個體量的平行布置并沒有帶來足夠的圍合感，而且給房間的采光通風(fēng)和公共空間的布局造成了很多尷尬：3個房子間縫隙的體驗是很不愉悅的，建筑師需要被動地采用植物來解決視線干擾問題，用隔簾來消減停車和泳池之間的尷尬等等。對于材料的選擇上，木、混凝土、金屬的不同也沒有直接貢獻到空間品質(zhì)，似乎更多上是消費概念上的噱頭。

GE Ming: This project is a private mansion in Nonthaburi Province. The building is of sophisticated construction and integrates three different materialswood, concrete and corrugated metal plate. The most distinctive feature of this design is the clear division of the floor plan. In order to best serve its use, the residence consists of three parallel volumes. The ground floor tries to be as transparent as possible, creating a visual connection between the three volumes and through the courtyard. Unfortunately, the organization of functions is too similar to the residence's spatial configuration. This impacts the overall spatial composition of the residence and results in a profile of unremarkable character.

LI Ye: Elite Awkwardness

This project creates a strong image of the contemporary "high life" but, as an architectural strategy, it is not successful. The three parallel masses that make up the project do not create a sense of enclosure. On the contrary, it creates awkwardness when it comes to the natural ventilation of rooms and positioning of public program. The spatial experience of the gaps between these wings is uncomfortable and plants are needed to screen the view conflicts that result-at the very least, curtains would be necessary to mitigate the uneasiness created between the parking area and the swimming pool. In terms of material choice, the palette of wood, concrete and metal is not deployed in a way that contributes to a coherent spatial quality. It is rather, a consumerist gimmick.
