【摘要】英語(yǔ)作為國(guó)際交流工具的重要性日益體現(xiàn),中職學(xué)生掌握英語(yǔ)的必要性也日趨增強(qiáng)。通過(guò)對(duì)中職學(xué)生學(xué)情的分析,提出了有針對(duì)性的激發(fā)其學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的興趣和熱情的方法。

Because of the boom of development and international association between China and other countries in fields of politics, economy, technology and education, English has been wildly used as an international communication tool. Mastering English for vocational students is now more important than over, therefore, how to arouse interests for them to learn English is discussed as follows.
1.Current English Learning Conditions of Vocational Students
Most of the vocational students do not attach importance to learning English, which is mainly because they pay more attention to their specialized subjects and their weak basic study in their primary school or high school.
2.Importance Necessary of Learning English for Vocational Students
Higher and higher requirement of certificates for vocational students makes the necessary to learn English well. What’s more, there are more and more chances for them to use English in daily life and working. As a result, it is essential important ti learn English well.
3.How to Arouse their Interests
There are many methods to arouse students’ interests in learning English; the methods with high effect proved in my class will be discussed:
Primarily, Teachers should offer positive and correct opinions on values to the vocational students. Such opinions are the basis of positive attitude, which leads the students to make the wise choice and learn patiently and diligently.
Then, combination with daily life and English learning is essential. English is a communicative tool more than a language; therefore, it is more efficiency to be learnt in use. With rich social experience, the distinguishable characteristic of vocational students, it is more easily to arouse their reflection and interests when English contents are combined with daily life, especially those are related to their personal experiences.
Last but not least, diversified methods and styles should be used in class. There is desire for every student to perform well in front of his teacher and classmates; therefore, task?鄄based role play should be always applied in English learning to stimulate the passionate energy in their deep heart. What’s more, the English teachers shall take advantage of the rich resource of multimedia to make English classes vivid and lively. Group working is also an important method to arouse their interests to learn English.
