4？郾as a matter of fact

①用于引出會(huì)使說(shuō)話者意想不到或很吃驚的回答。

②用于強(qiáng)調(diào)所說(shuō)的話，使之更肯定或更具體。

I didn？蒺t go to the club on Saturday. As a matter of fact， I？蒺ve not been there for months.

相同的表達(dá)還有：for that matter， in fact， in actual fact， in point of fact， the fact of the matter is。例如：This book will fascinate（使著迷）all students of the English language， and for that matter， all speakers of English， too.

又如：I？蒺ve not read the book， and the fact is neither has anyone else.

③事實(shí)上，真的。
