Worldwide Harmony—the Emblem of the Twenty-Fourth Seoul Olympics“和諧世界”——第24 屆漢城奧運(yùn)會(huì)會(huì)徽

In 1988，Seoul witnessed the 24th Olympic Games with the theme of“Worldwide Harmony”.At the same time，the emblem of the Seoul Olympics was well-known for the sam-taeguk(三太極) pattern.The sam-taeguk pattern is made by three main colors which represent“the Sky，the Ground and the People”and is a traditional Korean pattern that often be used to represent Korean in the international situation.The emblem has two forms，centripetal (外旋) and centrifugal (內(nèi)旋).The centrifugal motion represents the world’s boom while the centripetal motion stands for(代表) the gathering of worldwide people in Korean，thus symbolising(象征)worldwide harmony.

1988年漢城見證了以世界和諧為主題的第24 屆奧運(yùn)會(huì)。同時(shí)，漢城奧運(yùn)會(huì)的會(huì)徽因?yàn)槿珮O的圖案而為世人皆知?！叭珮O”是韓國的一種傳統(tǒng)圖案，經(jīng)常用來在一些國際場(chǎng)合代表韓國的精神，構(gòu)成三太極的三種顏色分別代表著“天、地、人”。會(huì)徽有內(nèi)旋和外旋兩種特征，外旋代表著世界的繁榮發(fā)展，而內(nèi)旋則代表著世界人民齊聚漢城，從而突出了世界和諧這一理念。

Take Part in History—the Emblem of the Twenty-Third Los Angeles Olympics 參與歷史——第23 屆洛杉磯奧運(yùn)會(huì)會(huì)徽

In 1984，with the theme of“Take Part in History”，Los Angeles hold a significance (重大意義的) Olympics the second time.In this year，in this Olympic playground，the Chinese team returned to the family of the Olympics after the former Los Angeles Olympics.The emblem of the Olympics is trying to encourage people to make greater history.The star is a symbol of the highest dream of the human.And the horizontal bars describe the pushfulness (沖勁) of the athletes pursuing the win，while the repetition(重復(fù)) of the star shape the spirit of equal competition between the outstanding sportsmen.

在1984年，洛杉磯城又舉辦了一屆有重大意義的以“參與歷史”為主題的奧運(yùn)會(huì)。這一年，在洛杉磯的奧運(yùn)場(chǎng)館上，中國代表隊(duì)自上一次洛杉磯奧運(yùn)會(huì)后再度回歸奧運(yùn)會(huì)大家庭的懷抱。這屆會(huì)徽意在鼓舞人們?nèi)?chuàng)造更偉大的歷史。會(huì)徽上的星星代表著人類的最高理想追求。而那些星星拖著的線條則描繪了運(yùn)動(dòng)員們爭(zhēng)奪比賽勝利的沖勁。而重復(fù)的幾顆星星則塑造了奧運(yùn)會(huì)在同樣出色的運(yùn)動(dòng)員間公平?jīng)Q勝的精神。
