Wang Hong was born in Hengyang, Hunan. He is a national first-grade artist and a member of China Calligraphers Association. His works, regarded as the art treasures by China Calligrapher Association, were collected by the 29th Beijing Olympic Games Organizing Committee. Some of his works have been collected by many art museums and printed in the forest of stone tablets. He has some published works and the copy method of cursive designed by him has won two national patented inventions.

王宏，湖南省衡陽(yáng)市人，國(guó)家一級(jí)美術(shù)師,中國(guó)書法家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員、湖南省書法家協(xié)會(huì)主席團(tuán)成員、湖南省草書委員會(huì)主任委員，為我國(guó)當(dāng)代狂草書法代表書法家之一。被文化部藝術(shù)人才中心編撰的《中國(guó)藝術(shù)大家》收錄，作品被中國(guó)書協(xié)作為精品轉(zhuǎn)贈(zèng)北京二十九屆奧運(yùn)會(huì)組委會(huì)收藏，并被作為政府禮品饋贈(zèng)國(guó)際友人。代表作《李白·將進(jìn)酒》被多家藝術(shù)館、博物館收藏并刻于碑林。已出版五部書法作品、研究專集。其中《張旭〈古詩(shī)四首〉習(xí)字帖》、《三米格草書習(xí)字帖》被作為大學(xué)書法專業(yè)教材。設(shè)計(jì)的狂草書法臨寫方法“三米字行定位法”獲兩項(xiàng)國(guó)家發(fā)明專利
