The company has offered a free trip for the employees， but where are they going to go?

Bill: So that's the deal. Three days of team-building activities in one of these locations: A small cottage near Lake Windermere， which has lots of good scenery and great camping， a hotel near Mount Snowdon， which will be a lot of mountain climbing and hiking， and Edinburgh， staying in a small townhouse. Go away， think about it and give me your opinions in a ballot tomorrow morning.

Later， Ryan and Susan are sat in the break room discussing the company's offer.

過了一會兒，瑞恩和蘇珊在休息室討論公司提供的這次旅行。

Ryan: There's no contest. Snowdon. It has to be – the rest just don't come close.

瑞恩：根本就不用比啊。必須是斯諾登山啊，其它的根本就沒法比啊。

Susan: How can you say that， Ryan? Edinburgh is by far the best option. Just think about it – we could go flouncing along the Royal Mile， spend plenty of money at designer stores…What?

蘇珊：瑞恩，怎么能那么說呢？目前來說，愛丁堡是不二之選啊。好好想想吧，我們能在皇家一英里街上“掃街”，在那么多設(shè)計師的店里花錢購物，怎么樣？

Ryan is looking at her with a look of disgust.

瑞恩一臉厭惡地看著她。

Ryan: Yeah， because that's really what the company are going to let us do. A three-day team-building exercises buying handbags.

瑞恩：是啊，因為公司就是讓我們?nèi)ジ赡莻€的，三天的團隊建設(shè)，練習(xí)買手提包。

Susan: Everyone's a critic. We're going to get plenty of free time， and I'd rather spend it in comfort than stuck on some snow-covered mountainside in Wales， freezing my arse off in the name of team spirit.

蘇珊：每個人都是批評家。我們會有很多自由活動時間，我寧愿舒舒服服地過也不愿意困在威爾士滿是積雪的山頂，以團隊精神之名把人凍得要死。

Ryan: You just have no sense of adventure， Susan. It's going to be exciting， different. Edinburgh， on the other hand， is going to be just like any other city.What can you do in Edinburgh that you can't do in Bristol?

瑞恩：你就是沒有冒險精神。那多刺激啊，跟別的不一樣。再說了，愛丁堡和其它城市都大同小異。你在愛丁堡能做的又有什么在布里斯托爾做不了的呢？

Susan: That's not the point， you old cynic. Edinburgh has plenty of history and suchlike， not that you'd appreciate that.

蘇珊：這不是關(guān)鍵，你總是這么一副憤世嫉俗的樣子。愛丁堡有很多名勝古跡，不過不是你喜歡的那種。

Ryan: Ouch， you wound me! I'm all about culture. I just don't particularly like the idea of wasting a three-day trip out of the office on going to a different city. I'd rather be out testing myself against the elements.

瑞恩：喔，你傷害了我！我可是個文化人。我只是不想把三天假期浪費在辦公室外的另一個城市而已。我寧愿到戶外讓自己挑戰(zhàn)一下自然的力量。

Susan: Ryan， you're a sales executive， not a member of the bloody SAS.

蘇珊：瑞恩，你是銷售主管，又不是皇家空軍特種部隊的。

Ryan: Wow， you're really getting personal about this， aren't you?

瑞恩：天啊，你這是在人身攻擊了吧?

Susan: Ryan， you're standing between a woman and a shopping trip. That's about as smart as boiling tea in a chocolate teapot.

蘇珊：瑞恩，你站在女人和購物之間。跟女人爭論購物可不太明智啊。

Ryan: But it's not going to be a shopping trip! They're going to make us do crappy leadership tasks and all that malarkey.

瑞恩：但這不是個購物游??！他們想讓我們完成些煩人的團隊領(lǐng)導(dǎo)任務(wù)，然后再說些大話。

Susan: Well， we'll just see what the company says when it comes to the ballot， won't we?

Three days later， Bill calls everyone in to the office.

Bill: Okay guys… I'm pleased to announce that the location we will be going for our trip， by popular ballot is… Lake Windemere!
