Employment Without Payment? Over the past 2 years, quite a few Chinese college students have accepted \"employment without payment\" after graduation. It's not a new thing any more, but it reflects some strange phenomena in China nowadays when this trend gradually becomes \"a non-alternative reality\" to which the society, enterprise, school and even college students themselves begin to give tacit assent. In fact, \"employment without payment\" is not only illegal, but also conceals many social problems. \"Employment without payment\" is in essence violates the principle of \"there is payment for work done.\" Those labor forces without payment may be used by some immoral and dark minded employers. The negativities caused by \"employment without pay\" will aggravate the devaluation of college students, result in more vicious competition, disturb job market and do harm to social economy
外編點評:
A damn good effort! The only corrections I can make: \"employment without payment is in essence a violation of the principle…\" and \"result in more vicious competition, disruption of the job market, and serious harm to the social economy.\"

The recent two years has witnessed quite a few Chinese undergraduates who accept zero salary after graduated. This trend of free labor is no longer news, however, if it continues and gradually becomes some kind of compelling reality of the society, in enterprises and schools and among university students it does imply some curious phenomena of the current society. As a matter of fact, zero salary does not only break the law, but also allude to some social problems. It fundamentally goes against the principle of \"workers well paid\". This kind of free labor may be used or even amused by some dark-minded employers. The negativity brought by zero salary, as a result, would aggravate the devaluation of undergraduates, create vicious competition, disrupt employment market, as well as do harm to social economy.
外編點評:
Another good try, with just a few simple corrections to be made. I'd rewrite some of the sentences to read like this: \"Chinese undergraduates who accept zero salary after graduation\", \"reality of our society\", and \"disrupt the employment market and do harm to the social economy\".

During the recent 2 years, many university students in China have accepted \"working without salary\" when they just graduate. It is not fresh news. But when the \"certain reality without alternative\" acquiesced by society, enterprise, school and student himself has become a trend, an abnormal phenomenon in Chinese society is reflected. Actually, \"working without salary\" is not just against the law, but entails many social problems. It has violated the principles of \"earned income\" fundamentally. The labors without cost might be taken advantage or be abused by black hearted employers. The shadow of \"working without salary\" will aggravate the depreciation of the worth of university students, thus causing more serious cutthroat competition, infesting employment market and inflicting harm to social economy.
外編點評:
While this is okay, it does need a fair bit of tidying up in order to make it properly readable. There's a fair number of words that aren't really correct for the context: substitute 'past' instead of 'recent', 'is accepted' for 'acquiesce', pluralise 'school' and 'student', and rewrite sentences to read: \"an abnormal phenomenon is reflected among Chinese society\", \"it violates the fundamental principles of 'earned income' \", and \"infesting the employment market and inflicting harm to the social economy. \"
