It also offers a continuous shooting speed of 2.5 frames per second – enough to snap even the fastest of runners - and shutter speeds ranging from 1/4000 to 30 seconds.

For a camera this compact， there is no better option currently available.

While I'm not a big fan of Pentax cameras in general， this new toy is a damn good bit of kit. Coming in at the tail-end of the digital SLR boom， the K20D has learnt a lot from the mistakes of those that have come before it. With a phenomenal 14.6 megapixels sensor and a 21fps burst mode， the K20D packs enough gadgetry to make it a contender as a sports camera， but this is certainly one case where the lens is of paramount importance. Go for Canon， Nikon， or Sigma – standard Pentax lenses are too slow for this kind of work.
