there be結(jié)構(gòu)是初中英語(yǔ)中一個(gè)比較重要的句型。使用時(shí)要注意以下幾種情況：

1.“There be+主語(yǔ)+地點(diǎn)(時(shí)間)”表示“某處有……”，there是引導(dǎo)詞，無(wú)詞義，be是謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞，主語(yǔ)位于be之后。如主語(yǔ)是單數(shù)，be動(dòng)詞用is;如果是復(fù)數(shù)，be動(dòng)詞用are。如:

There is a book on the desk. 書桌上有一本書。

There are some students in the playground. 操場(chǎng)上有一些學(xué)生。

2.There be 結(jié)構(gòu)中，若主語(yǔ)是不可數(shù)名詞，則謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用is。如：

There is some water in the glass. 玻璃杯中有一些水。

Is there any milk in the bottle? 瓶子中有牛奶嗎？

3.There be結(jié)構(gòu)中，如主語(yǔ)不止一個(gè)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的形式則根據(jù)第一個(gè)主語(yǔ)確定。在英語(yǔ)中這叫“就近原則”。如：

There is a pen and two books on the desk.

書桌上有一支鋼筆和兩本書。

There are two pens and a pencil in the pencil-box.

文具盒中有兩支鋼筆和一支鉛筆。

用be的適當(dāng)形式填空

①There ____ a watch on the chair.

②There ____ many books in her bag.

③There ____ some money in my purse.

④There ____ a big tree and some flowers in the picture.

⑤There ____ some pencils, a pen and a clock on the table.

4.There be 結(jié)構(gòu)的否定式，是在be之后加not。

There is not an American boy in our class.

我們班上沒(méi)有一個(gè)美國(guó)男孩。

5.There be結(jié)構(gòu)的一般疑問(wèn)句是將be動(dòng)詞提到句首。如：

——Is there a car in front of the house? 房子前面有一輛小汽車嗎？

——Yes, there is. 是的，有一輛。

——Are there any birds in the tree? 樹(shù)上有一些鳥(niǎo)嗎？

——No, there arent. 不，沒(méi)有。

6. 如果對(duì)there be結(jié)構(gòu)中的主語(yǔ)進(jìn)行提問(wèn)，則用What+be+there+時(shí)間(地點(diǎn))？如：

There is a book on the desk.→

What is there on the desk?

7.如果對(duì)there be結(jié)構(gòu)中主語(yǔ)的定語(yǔ)進(jìn)行提問(wèn)，則往往用how many(much)+主語(yǔ)+be+there+時(shí)間(地點(diǎn))?如：

(1)There are seven days in a week.→

How many days are there in a week?

(2)There is a little juice in the bottle.→

How much juice is there in the bottle?

8.there be與have的區(qū)別:

(1)have表“所屬”關(guān)系的“有”；there be指某處“有”。如：

This man has a brother in Beijing. 此人有個(gè)弟弟在北京。

There are many books on the desk. 桌子上有很多書。

The desk has four legs. 書桌有四條腿。

There are many people in the room. 房間里有很多人。

(2)在have含“所有”的意義較弱的情況下，可與there be互換。如：

We have much rain this year.=There is much rain this year.

今年下了不少雨。

There is a map on the wall.=We have a map on the wall.

墻上有張地圖。

The wall has a hole in it. =Theres a hole in the wall. 墻上有個(gè)洞。

A year has 365 days.=There are 365 days in a year. 一年有365天。
