“What shall I do to love my neighbor？”

“Stop hating yourself.”

The disciple pondered those words long and seriously and came back to say, “But I love myself too much, for I am selfish and self-centered. How do I get rid of that？”

“Be friendly to yourself and yourself will be contented and it will set you free to love your neighbor.”

“我要怎樣才能做到愛(ài)護(hù)我的鄰居呢？”

“不要討厭你自己。”

弟子將這句話很認(rèn)真地琢磨了很久后，回頭問(wèn)道：“可是我很愛(ài)自己呀，我既自私又自我。要如何才能改掉呢？”

“對(duì)自己友善一點(diǎn)，你自己心滿(mǎn)意足了,就可以盡情地愛(ài)護(hù)你的鄰居了?！?/p>
