浙江溫州平陽(yáng)縣職工業(yè)余京劇社社長(zhǎng)董偉桐先生，被京劇票友尊稱為“德高望重”京劇票界領(lǐng)軍人物，然而他又是一位著名的痔瘺?？漆t(yī)生，歷經(jīng)坎坷但始終樂(lè)觀向上，他在自己作詞作曲的京歌《永做奉獻(xiàn)人》中寫道：“老當(dāng)益壯春常在，滿懷豪情與時(shí)俱進(jìn)不計(jì)程，余熱獻(xiàn)后人”。

從美學(xué)上升華京劇

2005年12月20日，文化部中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化促進(jìn)會(huì)在人民大會(huì)堂舉行中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化先進(jìn)事跡表彰大會(huì)，鑒于平陽(yáng)縣職工業(yè)余京劇社在弘揚(yáng)中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化工作中作出的突出貢獻(xiàn)，被授予“全國(guó)先進(jìn)票友社團(tuán)”榮譽(yù)稱號(hào)，該社社長(zhǎng)董偉桐被授予“振興京劇功勛獎(jiǎng)”。

董偉桐一直癡迷京劇。2005年上半年董偉桐及其夫人葉允秋女士七十華誕之日，人們要為他倆擺酒祝壽，他卻別出心裁，將壽宴辦成京劇晚會(huì)。他邀請(qǐng)瑞安市、平陽(yáng)縣兩地戲迷票友100余人舉辦“京劇演唱會(huì)”，第二天還移師劇院搞折子戲演出。這種私人出資為戲迷票友創(chuàng)造演出平臺(tái)之義舉，在溫州市尚屬首創(chuàng)。該活動(dòng)被臺(tái)北市《弘報(bào)》232期作了報(bào)道，《中國(guó)京劇》2005年第7期、《溫州晚報(bào)》《溫州都市報(bào)》也都作了報(bào)道，還在http://pyxj7i24.com上網(wǎng)，得到眾多網(wǎng)友好評(píng)。

有人問(wèn)他：“你在醫(yī)學(xué)領(lǐng)域已有成就，是什么原因使你如此癡迷京劇？”他說(shuō)：“開始時(shí)我覺(jué)得京劇能陶冶情操，使自己得到愉悅，使精神世界得以升華?？墒怯胶髞?lái)，愈深刻認(rèn)識(shí)到京劇博大精深，是中華民族優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化代表，它至情至性，唱出民族心聲，它教忠教孝，提振民族精神，是增強(qiáng)人文精神教育、構(gòu)建和諧社會(huì)法寶之一，于是我對(duì)京劇的癡迷就不能自拔了！我想，我能帶動(dòng)一批人弘揚(yáng)國(guó)粹，不是對(duì)社會(huì)的一種貢獻(xiàn)嗎！”

京劇是他的最愛(ài)

說(shuō)起京劇，董偉桐先生紅光滿面精神煥發(fā)，一口氣能說(shuō)一個(gè)上午。他從小就喜歡文藝，初中時(shí)是上海市南市區(qū)文化館業(yè)余話劇團(tuán)一名話劇演員和獨(dú)唱演員，讀衛(wèi)生學(xué)校又是杭州市大專院校歌詠比賽中的指揮能手，分配到平陽(yáng)工作后，他向資深票友陳君衡學(xué)唱京劇青衣，從此一發(fā)而不可收，京劇成為他心中的最愛(ài)。

改革開放后他自辦診所，業(yè)務(wù)忙得不可開交，即便如此他依然迷戀京劇。他經(jīng)常在醫(yī)療空暇之時(shí)與票友一起切磋技藝、交流心得和觀摩票友“票戲”活動(dòng)。有一次，他和夫人從外地觀摩回來(lái)，心里突發(fā)創(chuàng)辦業(yè)余京劇社的沖動(dòng)，于是在自己診室里開起了“票友座談會(huì)”。經(jīng)過(guò)四個(gè)多月的籌備，1992年9月成立了由縣民政局批準(zhǔn)的平陽(yáng)縣職工業(yè)余京劇社。1996年后他干脆把自己的診所關(guān)了，一心撲在京劇社里。

為了解決京劇社的資金困難，他帶頭捐資5000元，后來(lái)又到許多老朋友、老同學(xué)、老同事和企業(yè)家那里去游說(shuō)、動(dòng)員，尋找解決資金困難的辦法。功夫不負(fù)有心人，一位同學(xué)被他千言萬(wàn)語(yǔ)所感動(dòng)，慷慨解囊一下子給他資助1萬(wàn)元，后來(lái)縣委書記也被感動(dòng)了，多次作了批示，幫助他解決京劇社的資金困難。因?yàn)樗麑?duì)京劇社的癡迷和執(zhí)著，票友戲言說(shuō)他“筆尖、腳勤、臉皮厚；腦靈、才博、點(diǎn)子多”。

京劇社善于發(fā)現(xiàn)人才、培養(yǎng)骨干。一天他和夫人在票友家唱戲，窗外站著一位“鄰居大嫂”，他連忙約她進(jìn)門，當(dāng)她唱了一首《紅燈記》后，他便請(qǐng)妻子三番五次登門去動(dòng)員，約她參加京劇社活動(dòng)。后來(lái)，這位“鄰居大嫂”在他們精心扶植下成了京劇社主角，在省市比賽中屢屢獲獎(jiǎng)。

為了票友們學(xué)戲，董偉桐不吝巨資購(gòu)置錄像機(jī)、VCD機(jī)和音響設(shè)備，將央視播出的精彩京劇節(jié)目錄下來(lái)，再將唱腔、念白、鑼鼓經(jīng)等記錄整理出來(lái)形成劇本，讓票友們自己一遍遍觀看和演唱，還把一些電視藝術(shù)片大膽改為舞臺(tái)劇腳本配上樂(lè)器進(jìn)行響排。他明明是醫(yī)生，居然也是一位內(nèi)行的導(dǎo)演。他的事跡傳到中央電視臺(tái)，央視《戲曲采風(fēng)》欄目編導(dǎo)們兩次專程來(lái)到劇社“采風(fēng)”，于是便有了1998年5月16日到6月8日連續(xù)8次在央視3、4、8頻道滾動(dòng)播出的專題片《京韻京腔在平陽(yáng)》；2003年央視《戲中有戲》欄目，又一次邀請(qǐng)他們集體錄制節(jié)目作了播出。

為普及京劇奔忙

為將12年來(lái)京劇社所走過(guò)的艱難歷程和成績(jī)介紹給廣大戲迷，董偉桐決定編輯大型彩色畫冊(cè)《京韻京腔在平陽(yáng)》。一個(gè)縣專門出版發(fā)行京劇畫冊(cè)，這在全國(guó)并不多見。

編畫冊(cè)之時(shí)正逢董偉桐夫人因脊柱大手術(shù)住醫(yī)院，他便把自己的“辦公室”搬到醫(yī)院病床邊。在照料夫人的同時(shí)，他撲在陪伴床上做校對(duì)和版面設(shè)計(jì)，400多個(gè)日日夜夜，從創(chuàng)意到三易其稿，他精力充沛、癡情迷性，其精神感動(dòng)了一大批人。首發(fā)式那天，平陽(yáng)縣委等四套班子領(lǐng)導(dǎo)以及縣委宣傳部、統(tǒng)戰(zhàn)部及各民主黨派領(lǐng)導(dǎo)都來(lái)祝賀，贊譽(yù)他做了一件頗具人文價(jià)值的好事。

董偉桐還是縣老年大學(xué)和鰲江分校兩個(gè)京劇班老師，1995年下半年應(yīng)聘至今已有十個(gè)春秋。他既非戲校出身，又未當(dāng)過(guò)專業(yè)演員，更無(wú)京劇教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)，但他知難而上，購(gòu)買了許多有關(guān)書籍及音像資料，訂了《中國(guó)京劇》雜志，埋頭苦學(xué)，為了備好一節(jié)課常常徹夜不眠，直至找到論證依據(jù)方罷休。十年來(lái)他共撰寫了《京劇知識(shí)簡(jiǎn)介》《京劇藝術(shù)欣賞》《學(xué)唱要點(diǎn)》等教材8萬(wàn)余字，從錄音帶里翻錄整理出京劇名家名段曲譜126首，自創(chuàng)“京歌”12首，為提高教學(xué)質(zhì)量，他組織學(xué)員參加戲迷票友演唱會(huì)48次，由學(xué)員擔(dān)綱演出《武家坡》《貴妃醉酒》《狀元媒》《三娘教子》《江姐》《詠梅》《永做奉獻(xiàn)人》《平陽(yáng)頌》等折子戲13出，此外還在“新年京劇晚會(huì)”上由學(xué)員主演傳統(tǒng)戲《鳳還巢》等。

A Doctor's Beijing Opera Complex

Though he is a doctor by profession， Dong Weitong is best known as director of a Beijing Opera Club in Pingyang County， Zhejiang Province. Local Beijing Opera buffs in the county regard him as their leader. In December 2005， the Ministry of Culture held a ceremony at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing to commend organizations and enthusiasts from all over the country for their passionate promotion of various kinds of traditional operas. At this ceremony， Dong received a medal for his meritorious promotion of Beijing Opera and his club was also commended.

Dong's passion for performing arts started early in his life. He joined an amateur drama troupe during his middle school years. When he studied in a medical institute in Hangzhou， he was the conductor of the school's singing group and won honors at the citywide competitions. After he came to Pingyang， he began to take lessons in Beijing Opera from a local Beijing Opera fan.

The 71-year-old Beijing Opera zealot comments on his passion for and understanding of Beijing Opera: \"It the outset， I thought Beijing Opera could refine my personality， give me fun， and sublimate my spirit. However， the more I know about it， the more I see in it. Beijing Opera is a great and profound art. It represents our nation's fine cultural tradition. The opera touches one's heart and soul. And it is the sound of our nation. What is more， it conveys traditional virtues such as loyalty and filial piety， and promotes our national spirit. The opera can contribute to social harmony and cultural improvement.\"It was only natural that Dong would organize a club to promote Beijing Opera in Pingyang. In 1992， Dong and his wife came back from a study journey of Beijing Opera and hit upon the idea of organizing local fans into a club. With preparations of four months， the club was founded in 1992 with the government's approval. In 1996， he closed his clinic and devoted his time entirely to the club. He put up 5，000 yuan as startup fund and raised money through tireless lobbying. With the money， he bought a video tape recorder， a VCD player and acoustics. He records Beijing Opera highlights from CCTV which has an exclusive channel for traditional operas， and transcribe the arias， spoken parts， and percussion scores so that the club members can rehearse and put on shows. He even adapts some TV programs into Beijing Opera plays and directs them.

When the club's fame spread far and wide， CCTV， the country's number one television giant sent a group of journalists to report the club activities. The program was screened eight times on CCTV channels 3， 4， and 8 in May and June 1998. In 2003， the club's Beijing Opera shows were again screened in CCTV.

In order to publicize the club achievements， Dong Weitong decided to compile an album entitled The Sound of Beijing Opera in Pingyang. After the work began， his wife was hospitalized for a spine operation. Dong moved his work to the ward. He took care of his wife meanwhile he proofread the manuscript and studied the layout designs. He had worked on the album for about 400 days before it was published.

Dong Weitong has been teaching two Beijing Opera classes at the college for senior citizens since 1995. In order to prepare for these classes， he bought a lot of books as well as audio and video materials. In the past 10 years， he has written three teaching materials for his students. He has organized 48 shows for fans to stage their singings and 13 performances of Beijing Opera highlights.

On his 70th birthday in 2005， he organized a party and invited more than 100 Beijing Opera amateurs. They had a good time singing Beijing Opera arias and then the club members staged various highlights at a local theater the next day. It was the first time that such a privately funded Beijing Opera show was ever performed in Wenzhou. The local media covered the event. China Beijing Opera and a Taiwan newspaper also reported the event.
