Teacher:Hello.
你好。
Student:Hi, This is Ryan. Is this the phone-in line?
Teacher:Yes, may I help you?
Student:I'm calling to practice my English.
Teacher:No problem. I'm here to help. What do you want to talk about?
Student:Can you tell me your name first?
Teacher:Sure. My name is Drew.
Student:That's a good name. Does it have any special meaning?
Teacher:No, just a name.
Student:Are you American?
Teacher:No. I'm from Canada.
Student:That's a beautiful country.
Teacher:Yes, and it's big,too.

Teacher:Almost 3 months.
Student:How do you like China so far?

Student:What about Canada?
Teacher:Canada is very beautiful, but it's not as cheap as China, and the food is not as good. Chinese food is so good.

Student:I'm glad you like it.
Teacher:I sure do.
當(dāng)然。
Attention Please...
[1] I'm calling to practice my English.
I'm calling to... I'm calling to file a complaint. I'm calling to book a ticket. I'm calling to ask for some information.
[2] That's a good name.
[3] How do you like China so far?
How do you like...?
[4] Everything is dirt cheap.
