Cats and dogs are known for being opposites in many ways—just dont tell Marlin that. When I first took a look at Marlin， I thought he was just an average cat. But upon closer inspection， it became very clear that Marlin thinks hes one of the dogs.

I am an animal lover. Before I adopted Marlin， I already had four dogs： Buxton， Hattie， Shady， and Buoy. I love to capture all of the adventures we go on. But being such an active family made us worry that a cat just wouldnt be able to adjust to our lifestyle. Luckily， I managed to find a kitty that was made for this kind of life.

When I first got Marlin， he was just a tiny kitten. Nothing could stop him from looking up to his older dog brothers. He has watched them since the first day we got him. He wanted to do everything that the dogs were doing， from drinking out of their water bowl to jumping in the truck to go to the beach， swimming in the ocean... He truly does just think hes a dog.

Cats tend to keep to themselves， but Marlin loves being around the dogs. He can often be seen taking a nap with them or even helping them dig a hole.

And every time we turn around， hes hunting one of them or， you know， just ready to attack and jumping all over one of them. Hes so funny， and theres absolutely never a dull moment around here. No matter? what? this? fun?loving? family? is? doing， Marlin is more than happy to be along.

What changed Marlin who should have liked to be left alone？
