馬克·力文（Mark H.Levine，美國(guó)），博士，中央民族大學(xué)教授，中國(guó)政府友誼獎(jiǎng)和北京“長(zhǎng)城友誼獎(jiǎng)”獲得者。美國(guó)鄉(xiāng)村音樂(lè)人、社會(huì)學(xué)家、作家，創(chuàng)作了近80首關(guān)于中國(guó)生活的歌曲，出版了Singing My China Stories to the World（《向世界唱我的中國(guó)故事》）等圖書(shū)。

2021年，為紀(jì)念中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨成立100周年，我寫(xiě)了一首歌，名為《歌頌?zāi)恪H愛(ài)的中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨》。歌詞簡(jiǎn)要回顧了黨史，開(kāi)頭是：“中華人民共和國(guó)宣告成立，繼往開(kāi)來(lái)的精神始終奮勇向前。國(guó)家領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人和全國(guó)人民深知，沒(méi)有什么能將這個(gè)偉大民族的斗志搖撼?！?/p>

10月16日上午，我和其他數(shù)億人一起收聽(tīng)收看了中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨第二十次全國(guó)代表大會(huì)開(kāi)幕會(huì)。習(xí)近平主席講述了中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨經(jīng)歷過(guò)的一些挑戰(zhàn)，以及黨和人民如何勠力同心，在眾多領(lǐng)域中共同戰(zhàn)勝前進(jìn)道路上的各種挑戰(zhàn)，依靠頑強(qiáng)斗爭(zhēng)打開(kāi)事業(yè)發(fā)展新天地。

他還談及未來(lái)為全面建設(shè)社會(huì)主義現(xiàn)代化國(guó)家所要采取的行動(dòng)。并強(qiáng)調(diào)，這些行動(dòng)必須牢牢扎根于馬克思主義，立足于科學(xué)理論，并在實(shí)踐中得到落實(shí)。

當(dāng)我聽(tīng)到大會(huì)講述中國(guó)的過(guò)去、現(xiàn)在以及未來(lái)時(shí)，我堅(jiān)信在中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下，中國(guó)的前途是光明的。

In 2021 I wrote a song called “The Future’s Very Bright Ahead Led by the CPC” in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China.Briefly reviewing the history of the Party one verse begins “With the founding of the PRC,the struggle did not end.The people and their leaders understood they could not bend.”

In the morning of October 16,along with hundreds of million of others I watched President Xi Jinping’s opening address to the 20th CPC National Congress.He began by recounting some of the challenges that were faced by the Party and how the Party and people stood together in strong resolve not merely to overcome them but,in fact,to move beyond them.This was done in so many areas.

Moving on in his report,President Xi Jinping spoke to the future and the steps to be done to build a modern socialist country in all respect.He stressed that these steps must be flrmly rooted in Marxism and located in scientiflc theory that is carried out in practice.

As I listened to President Xi Jinping’s recounting of the past that has gotten us to the present and will carry China forward to the future,I have no doubt that under CPC leadership,the future truly is bright ahead.
