My dream
I have longed to become an English teacher since I was young because I enjoy teaching English. Not only can an English teacher help students master the foreign language, but also he or she can help stu?dents have a better understanding of for?eign culture. In my eyes, this job is mean?ingful and interesting.
To realize my dream, there are some measures. For one thing,it would be a great way to practice my oral and listening English skills. For another,I had better bury myself in English pedagogy to gain a better picture of English teaching.

一封給父親的秘信
Paragraph 1:
Two weeks went by with hardly a word from my father. Then, one afternoon,I came home from school to find my mom sit?ting at the dining room table waiting to talk to me.I could see in her eyes that she had been crying. She told me Dad had been there and that they had talked for a long time. They decided that there were things that both of them could and would change and that their marriage was worth saving.Mom then turned her focus to my eyes.
Paragraph 2:
“Krissie,Dad told me that you wrote him a letter. Can I ask what you wrote to him?”I found it hard to share the letter with my mom.Mom said,“Well,Dad said that when he read your letter,it made him cry.It meant a lot to him and I have hardly ever seen your dad cry. After he read your letter,he called to ask if he could come over to talk. What you said really made a difference to your dad.”A few days later my dad was back, this time to stay.We never talked about the letter, and it was something that was a secret between us.

Paragraph 1:
She lifted her head and looked at the two men.In a flash, she understood the two men actually meant to remind her to hit the button for her floor. She thought,“My God,what a spectacle I've made of my?self.”Feeling embarrassed and ashamed, she struggled to her feet. With her face bursting into flames, she wanted to blurt out an apology, but words failed her.“How could you apologize to two perfectly re?spectable gentlemen for behaving as though they were going to rob you?”She didn't know what to say, just standing there stiffly. The two men contained their belly laugh and helped her gather up the scattered coins.
Paragraph 2:
Then, the lift arrived at her floor. With a shy goodbye, she stepped out of the lift hurriedly. She let out a sigh of relief, rushed into her room and couldn't help roaring with laughter.Over dinner, she shared the whole event with her husband, who laughed a lot and joked that the woman would never forget what“hit the floor”meant and never judge a book by its cover. What an amusing and unforgettable experience!

Dear Mike,
How is it going?I'm writing to invite you to take part in Chinese Ancient Poetry Recitation.
It is going to be held in our school hall at 4 pm next Friday. Some Chinese stu?dents as well as some foreign students in our school are going to recite some Chinese ancient poems they love and share their ex?perience of reading the poems. As a Chi?nese ancient poetry lover,it's a good chance for you to share your understanding about Chinese culture with us.You just need to recite one ancient poem and tell us what you think about it.
Looking forward to your reply.
Yours sincerely,
Li Hua
第二節(jié)
Paragraph 1:
As I stepped inside,I was struck by how quiet and how pink it was. There in front of me quietly stood seventeen nine?year?old players decorated from head to toe in pink, and breast cancer symbols were painted on their helmets. They looked like fighters, brave and faithful, who were ready for a serious battle. Then my son Brady came over to me,saying,“We are so grateful that you have shown us through your fight what it really means to be a Ti?ger.Tonight,we are going to win the game just for you.”Inspired by what Brady said, all the players cheered,“It's time Tigers!”
Paragraph 2:
I sensedtheir determination. They stepped into the field confidently.During the whole game, each and every boy per?formed so wonderfully, skating swiftly and passing balls skilfully. They had never been so cooperative.Even when they fell behind by several points, they didn't lose heart.Instead, they kept fighting to?gether.I supposed they knew I was there for them all the time! And I should also tell them how grateful I was that they were there for me.Of course, the Tiger won the game that night. And I won mine, too.
