如果說，工業(yè)文明承載著一座城市的歷史記憶，那么老廠房、老設(shè)備、舊產(chǎn)品、舊車間，這些曾承續(xù)工業(yè)文明、書寫現(xiàn)代化進程的工業(yè)遺產(chǎn)，則是城市發(fā)展變遷的深刻印記和文化積淀，同時也是許多城市的鮮明標志。

漫步工業(yè)遺跡，在具有年代感的廠房建筑，抑或是帶有濃厚行業(yè)特色的工業(yè)景觀中感受昔日“中國制造”的歷史，工業(yè)旅游正成為越來越受歡迎的休閑體驗；發(fā)揮工業(yè)遺產(chǎn)的資源優(yōu)勢，廢舊的工廠悄然改成文創(chuàng)園、科技園等新興產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展的集聚區(qū)，成為城市經(jīng)濟創(chuàng)新發(fā)展的孵化地、新容器，實現(xiàn)可觀的經(jīng)濟效益和文化價值；大型廠房以及工廠里縱橫的管廊，以獨特的工業(yè)美學氛圍受到藝術(shù)空間、設(shè)計師的追捧，成為工業(yè)遺產(chǎn)蛻變新生的文化磁場；被改造成時尚藝術(shù)區(qū)和網(wǎng)紅“打卡地”的工業(yè)建筑，蘊含著工業(yè)文化韻味的新型文化場景和文化消費空間；一些工業(yè)遺產(chǎn)還變身城市文化公園、城市開放空間，滿足人們的休閑娛樂需求，煥發(fā)新的生機活力……工業(yè)遺產(chǎn)正通過功能創(chuàng)新、空間重組等手段，實現(xiàn)“覺醒”“再生”，以創(chuàng)意、創(chuàng)新和創(chuàng)造的思想理路實現(xiàn)著鏈接古今工業(yè)文明智慧、拉近現(xiàn)實工業(yè)生產(chǎn)與消費的文化蜂鳴。

工業(yè)化崢嶸歲月所留下的痕跡很滄桑，也可以很時尚，激發(fā)遺產(chǎn)生命力是工業(yè)遺產(chǎn)“重生”的關(guān)鍵。構(gòu)建融合發(fā)展新模式，工業(yè)遺產(chǎn)的保護和創(chuàng)新利用必將以更加豐富的實踐彰顯多元價值，在為城市轉(zhuǎn)型發(fā)展賦能的同時，成為城市可持續(xù)發(fā)展的新活力、新亮點。印刻著發(fā)展足跡的工業(yè)遺產(chǎn)不僅屬于當代，更應(yīng)屬于未來。

Industrialization has kept pace with city development. The old factories， equipment， products and workshops are the fruits of a strong movement toward modernization， a distinctive cultural symbol of the city’s identity.

With urban construction undergoing momentous changes， the city’s industrial structure is adjusted and upgraded from within. The city moves in a new direction of development to mandate industrial heritage with new responsibility for urban renewal and to fuse the preservation and use of industrial heritage with the answer to the public’s cultural need.

The buildings offer a deep sense of history， and the landscape is thick with industrial atmosphere， providing a glimpse of the inspiring scenes of “Made in China”. Industrial tourism is emerging as a popular form of recreation. Leveraging the industrial heritage， abandoned factories have been transformed into clusters for developing new industries such as cultural and creative parks and technology parks， which serve as incubators for the innovative development of the city’s economy and help reinforce economic benefits and cultural values. The giant factories with crisscrossing ducts and pipes constitute unique personalities of industrial design， calling forth the autonomous aesthetic pleasure. They are cultural powerhouse and a magnet that facilitate qualitative change industrial heritage. They are materialized industrial culture and rejuvenated spaces that combine original charm and cultural consumption. They are public cultural parks and landscaped open spaces for recreation and outings. Through an innovative approach of functional and spatial reshuffle， industrial heritage are being regenerated to fit in better with the consumption of culture.

Adding vitality is pivotal to the rejuvenation of industrial heritage. The protection and innovation of industrial heritage will manifest their diversified contents by applying a new， integrated business model， becoming a new growth pole that generates new growth drivers for sustainable urban development. Industrial heritage matter because they engage， they tell stories of the past， present and future.
