My Weekend

Organized by the student union， a group of volunteers went to Hope Farm to help the farmers pick peaches last weekend. The farm is situated at the foot of a mountain. There are different kinds of fruit trees.

On arriving， we saw red ripe peaches hanging on the tree. Using baskets and ladders， we first picked the ones that were most beautiful in color， then those that were ripe and soft. I couldnt wait to take a bite， and the sweet juice went down my throat.

I was grateful for this opportunity to get close to nature. Not only would I be able to experience fruit picking， but I could also feast on the sweetness！

1. 當(dāng)你有困難時，你可以依靠我的幫助。

（基礎(chǔ)表達）You can rely on my helping you when you are in trouble.

（高級表達）You can rely on it that I will help you when you are in trouble.（含有it作形式賓語的復(fù)合句）

2. 我的錢已花完了， 因而我買不起這本書。

（基礎(chǔ)表達）My money has run out， so I cant afford to buy this book.

（高級表達）My money having been run out of， I cant afford to buy this book.（簡單句，含V?ing形式的被動語態(tài)）

4. which引導(dǎo)非限制性定語從句
