The conference concluded that China has now become a big country in the production and consumption of synthetic detergents in the world.During the “13th Five-Year Plan” period,China’s detergent industry are in the leading position of the world in terms of the industrial scale and technical level.In addition,it has reached or approached the level of moderately developed countries in the world especially in the aspects of brand building,product categories and consumer markets,etc.Thanks to the favorable factors such as the technological progress,the emergence of new materials,the upgrading of manufacturing equipment,the change of consumer demand and the appearance of new business models,the washing products with new dosage forms,such as laundry booster beads,laundry detergent pacs,floor detergent pacs,automatic dishwashing agents,fragrance and scent products and laundry soap grains,have become a new highlight in the development of China’s washing products industry due to its concentrated,quantified and personalized characteristics on the basis of meeting the consumption needs of the new generation.According to incomplete statistics,as of the end of 2020,the market scale of washing products with new dosage forms such as scent,bead,disposable and tablet categories in China has exceeded 20 billion yuan.The rapid development of washing products with new dosage forms has greatly promoted the diversified and differentiated development of China's synthetic detergent industry,which exerts a typical demonstration effect on the transformation of China's washing products industry to the characteristics of"concentration,green and low carbonization".What's more,it is also in line with the national development strategic goals of "recyclable economic development during the 14th Five-Year Plan" and "emission peak and carbon neutrality".

This conference is another special one on new formulation washing products in China’s daily chemical industry after the successful convening of "2020 China Development Seminar of Washing Products with New Dosage Form”.The Pearl River Delta region with Guangzhou as the center is the largest area in China’s washing products industry,thus it is of far-reaching significance to hold this conference in Guangzhou.Its successful convening bears a strong leading and exemplary role in leading and promoting the development of China’s washing products industry,especially in the rapid development of those with new dosage forms.This conference is prepared and convened to systematically summarize and review the items such as technological innovation,product development,standard construction,raw material selection and brand building of washing products with new dosage forms represented by laundry booster beads,laundry detergent pacs,dishwashing blocks and soap flowers in China.Moreover,it is hoped to further promote the technological progress,brand upgrading and industrial development of washing products with new dosage forms in China through the exchanges in the conference.
