Enjoy hospitality in Zibo in the sunny July.From July 12 to 14,2021,the “2021 China Cationic Surfactant Summit Forum” hosted by China Research Institute of Daily Chemical Industry was grandly held in Zibo City,Shandong Province,attracting more than 240 experts,scholars and representatives from more than 160 companies across China.

When seen from the past,cationic surfactant,as a major surfactant category,has been widely used in the fields such as public disinfection,personal care,textile printing and dyeing,oilfield exploitation and so on thanks to its special properties.In recent years,with a strong development momentum in the industry,it has become the category with the fastest growth in production and sales of surfactant products in China.During the global COVID-19 pandemic in recent two years in particular,the production and market of cationic surfactant products,as the main raw materials of household and public cleaning and disinfection products,showed a booming growth.By the end of 2019,the output of cationic surfactants in China accounted for 6.7% of the total output of surfactants;Its sales occupied 6.3% of the total sales of surfactants.Compared with 20 years ago,the annual output of cationic surfactants was less than 1% of the total output of surfactants,which indicates that it is definitely a gratifying achievement and the development of cationic surfactants in China has been improved to a new level.It is predicted that the market share of cationic surfactants in China will keep rising in the next five years,so let us all fight for it.
