教材分析：魯教版八年級(jí)上冊(cè)共分八個(gè)單元。本單元介紹世界之最、談?wù)摰乩砑白匀?語用知識(shí)方面，學(xué)生需學(xué)會(huì)使用比較級(jí)和最高級(jí)。本課型為閱讀課，主要談?wù)摓l危動(dòng)物——熊貓。文章從熊貓的生存環(huán)境切入，進(jìn)一步描述熊貓的飼養(yǎng)員，又過渡到熊貓的生存現(xiàn)狀和人類保護(hù)熊貓而采取的舉措。通過層層遞進(jìn)，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)珍惜和愛護(hù)動(dòng)物。

學(xué)生分析：

處于八年級(jí)上學(xué)期的學(xué)生科目多、壓力大，少有時(shí)間去關(guān)注身邊動(dòng)物的生存現(xiàn)狀。隨著學(xué)齡增長，英語學(xué)習(xí)難度逐漸上升，學(xué)生依然保持較高的學(xué)習(xí)激情。

教學(xué)目標(biāo)：

1.學(xué)用Scanning（尋讀法）方法有目的的進(jìn)行篇章快速閱讀;

2.學(xué)會(huì)使用介紹熊貓動(dòng)作、動(dòng)物生存現(xiàn)狀以及人類采取的相關(guān)措施的詞匯：bamboo， endangered， research， keeper， awake， excitement， walk into， fall over， or so， illness， wild， government.

3.本節(jié)課以國寶大熊貓為切入點(diǎn)，將熊貓保護(hù)的話題引入課堂。通過閱讀，學(xué)生意識(shí)到瀕危動(dòng)物的生存環(huán)境不容樂觀，應(yīng)攜手為給其創(chuàng)造更好的生存環(huán)境而努力。

重難點(diǎn)：掌握尋讀技巧，并能用文章詞匯描述大熊貓，學(xué)會(huì)用構(gòu)建思維導(dǎo)圖。

教學(xué)過程設(shè)計(jì)：

Step 1 Leading in 導(dǎo)入環(huán)節(jié)

The teacher shows a picture of bamboo and ask the students： Whats this？ Who eats it？ Today we are going to talk about this animal. Please watch a video first.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】充分利用導(dǎo)入環(huán)節(jié)，采用快捷的方式進(jìn)入到本節(jié)課的主題：熊貓。通過小視頻熱身，調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生積極性。

Step 2 Panda Adoption（領(lǐng)養(yǎng)） Day“熊貓領(lǐng)養(yǎng)日”游戲貫穿課堂

1. Work in groups and answer teachers' questions to get cards.

2. If the group gets the most cards， it will get the toy panda.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】將整節(jié)課程游戲化，提升學(xué)生上課回答問題的積極性，保證多數(shù)同學(xué)能夠開口練習(xí)。采用寓教于樂的方式，游戲貫穿整個(gè)課堂。

Step 3 Warm-up

Present several words about pandas and make sentences.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】游戲熱身環(huán)節(jié)，讓學(xué)生看到得到獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)券是很容易的事情，提高興趣。

Step 4 Fast reading

Present a picture of the book and four phrases， and ask students to match the main ideas of each paragraph. Then lead the students to find out that there are two main parts of the passage.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】通過篇章和短語對(duì)應(yīng)的形式讓學(xué)生找出每段的段落大意，有助于降低總結(jié)段落大意的難度，同時(shí)能夠快速掌握全文結(jié)構(gòu)和主要內(nèi)容。

Step 5 Careful reading-first paragraph

Show students four pictures of paragraph 1 and ask students to read the passage carefully and match four pictures. Teacher shows the main phrases on the screen. Show the pictures of three actions： run over with excitement; walk into friends， fall over. Then make a conclusion： their life is happy.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】閱讀第一段，并將四張圖片進(jìn)行排序。通過排序，了解本段主要內(nèi)容。再次精讀四個(gè)句子，摘取出其中重要信息，并將動(dòng)作性詞匯單獨(dú)拿出，通過動(dòng)圖的形式幫助學(xué)生理解，總結(jié)出熊貓的生活很開心。

Step 6 Careful reading-second paragraph

Present three questions and let students read paragraph 2 carefully， answer the questions： Who is Lin Wei？ What does he do every day？ Are pandas important in China and why？

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】精細(xì)閱讀第二段回答問題，將重點(diǎn)放在第三個(gè)問題：熊貓?jiān)谥袊苤匾蔀榱酥袊南笳?。通過國內(nèi)外領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人和大熊貓的合影來講解為何說大熊貓是中國的象征。

Step 7 Careful reading-third paragraph

Read and answer two questions： How many pandas are there now？ Why is the number so small？

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】細(xì)讀第三段回答問題。從課文中other human activities深入解讀，還有哪些人類行為導(dǎo)致動(dòng)物滅絕，通過圖片的形式展現(xiàn)污染環(huán)境、亂扔垃圾等行為。引導(dǎo)學(xué)生深思，還有哪些動(dòng)物正瀕臨滅絕？引導(dǎo)學(xué)生意識(shí)到：人類必須改變。

Step 8 Careful reading-fourth paragraph

So what can people do to help save the animals especially pandas？ Please read the fourth paragraph and answer： Who are the people？ What did they do？

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】細(xì)讀第四段，了解人類都做了哪些努力去幫助動(dòng)物?；卮饍蓚€(gè)問題：行為主體有哪些？他們分別做了什么？通過行為主體展示和填寫表格，繼續(xù)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生深思：那么作為學(xué)生我們能夠做些什么呢？

Step 9 Post reading： what can students do to save the pandas？

1. 4 students in a pair; 2.Talk about pandas problems and how to protect them.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】經(jīng)過文章閱讀，學(xué)生深有保護(hù)動(dòng)物的感觸。作為學(xué)生，我們能夠做些什么？讓學(xué)生進(jìn)行思考、討論，為幫助學(xué)生更好的輸出，在屏幕上呈現(xiàn)幫助性的詞匯和短語。讓學(xué)生上臺(tái)做對(duì)話進(jìn)行展示，對(duì)表現(xiàn)優(yōu)秀的小組分發(fā)獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)票進(jìn)行鼓勵(lì)。

Step 10 情感目標(biāo)和課堂小結(jié)

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】情感升華環(huán)節(jié)，再次強(qiáng)調(diào)熊貓的重要性，并將重要單詞板書。然后向?qū)W生展示由PROTECT組成的藏頭詩。通過呈現(xiàn)不同動(dòng)物的動(dòng)圖，讓學(xué)生進(jìn)一步認(rèn)識(shí)到動(dòng)物在我們大自然的重要性和不可替代性，從而引出情感線：Loving the animals is to love ourselves.

作業(yè)：
