中國國家主席習近平2020年12月12日在氣候雄心峰會上通過視頻發(fā)表題為《繼往開來，開啟全球應對氣候變化新征程》的重要講話。海外人士認為，習近平主席的講話為全球氣候治理提振雄心并提供新思路，彰顯中國與世界各國攜手助力《巴黎協(xié)定》行穩(wěn)致遠的決心，展現(xiàn)了中國重信守諾、為全球應對氣候變化作出更大貢獻的大國擔當。

On December 12, 2020, Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a speech at the Climate Ambition Summit 2020 entitled “Building on Past Achievements and Launching a New Journey for Global Climate Actions” via video link. People overseas considered that Xi’s remarks injected confidence and wisdom into global climate governance, showed China and other countries’ resolution to co-support the , demonstrated China’s role as a responsible power in keeping promises and contributing more to fight climate change.
