1892年，愛國(guó)華僑張弼士在煙臺(tái)創(chuàng)辦張?jiān)Ｆ咸厌劸乒?，這家公司是中國(guó)首家生產(chǎn)葡萄酒的工廠。

事情緣起于1871年，華僑富商張弼士在南洋一次酒會(huì)上認(rèn)識(shí)了葡萄酒和白蘭地，甚感興趣，尤其聽說中國(guó)北方的港城煙臺(tái)有葡萄種植，便產(chǎn)生了在煙臺(tái)創(chuàng)辦葡萄酒廠的念頭。

1891年，張弼士應(yīng)盛宣懷之邀來到煙臺(tái)，經(jīng)實(shí)地考察，發(fā)現(xiàn)這里的確擁有種植葡萄不可多得的優(yōu)越條件，于是決定買下煙臺(tái)東西兩座山修建葡萄園。同時(shí)，從奧國(guó)、法國(guó)、美國(guó)等國(guó)引進(jìn)了120多個(gè)品種近百萬株葡萄苗進(jìn)行栽培、嫁接、選育。

1892年，張弼士出資350萬兩白銀，聘請(qǐng)從南洋學(xué)成歸來的張成卿擔(dān)任首任總經(jīng)理，聘請(qǐng)奧匈帝國(guó)男爵巴保為首任釀酒師，創(chuàng)辦了張?jiān)Ｆ咸厌劸乒尽?/p>

張弼士在南洋所辦的企業(yè)，其名稱大都冠以“裕”、“興”等字，取其“昌裕興隆”之吉兆意，因而確定在煙臺(tái)建立的葡萄釀酒公司也用“?！弊郑皇窃谇懊婕觽€(gè)“張”字，以示張弼士對(duì)酒廠特別重視，并寄予厚望。張弼士所有的企業(yè)，用“張?jiān)！边@兩個(gè)字命名的只有葡萄釀酒公司這一處。

1912年8月20日，孫中山先生途經(jīng)煙臺(tái)，親臨張?jiān)９緟⒂^時(shí)，欣然揮毫題下了“品重醴泉”四個(gè)大字，對(duì)張?jiān)９井a(chǎn)品的品質(zhì)和實(shí)業(yè)興邦的品格給予極高評(píng)價(jià)。

1915年，張?jiān)５目裳虐滋m地、紅玫瑰葡萄酒、瓊瑤漿、雷司令白葡萄酒一舉榮獲巴拿馬太平洋萬國(guó)博覽會(huì)四枚金質(zhì)獎(jiǎng)?wù)潞妥顑?yōu)等獎(jiǎng)狀。

經(jīng)過129年的歷史積淀，張?jiān)９救缃褚呀?jīng)發(fā)展成為中國(guó)乃至亞洲最大的葡萄酒生產(chǎn)企業(yè)和品牌運(yùn)營(yíng)商。2017年，張?jiān)Ｒ阅赇N量1500萬箱的成績(jī)榮登全球最具影響力的酒類貿(mào)易專業(yè)媒體《Drinks Business》“全球十大暢銷葡萄酒品牌”排行榜第四。

張?jiān)９鞠群笫召?gòu)法國(guó)富郎多、西班牙愛歐公爵、法國(guó)蜜合花、智利魔獅、澳大利亞歌濃、法國(guó)拉頌酒莊等六家酒莊，加上國(guó)內(nèi)布局的八個(gè)酒莊，目前已在四大洲形成了十四個(gè)專業(yè)化酒莊布局。

其中位于煙臺(tái)開發(fā)區(qū)的張?jiān)?guó)際葡萄酒城占地5500畝，集葡萄示范種植、技術(shù)研發(fā)、葡萄酒與白蘭地生產(chǎn)、主題旅游為一體。酒城生產(chǎn)中心占地27萬平方米，是全球最大葡萄酒單體生產(chǎn)廠之一。

Over 129 years of historical accumulation， Changyu has become the largest wine enterprise and brand operator in China and even in Asia. In 2017， Changyu ranked 4th among the Top Ten Best Selling Wine Brands in Drinks Business， the most influential professional media of wine trades in the globe with an annual sales volume of 15 million boxes.

Changyu successively purchased six chateaus including Roullet-Fransac in France， Marques del Atri in Spain， Chateau Mirefleurs in France， Vina Indomita in Chile， Kilikanoon Estate in Australia and Chateau Liversan in France in addition to eight chateaus deployed in China. It has shaped a setup of fourteen professional chateaus in four continents up till now.

Among them， Changyu International Wine City in Yantai Economic and Technological Development Area covers an area of 5，500 mu （366.7 hectares）， integrating demonstration plantation and technological research and development of grapes， production of wine and brandy and thematic tourism.Covering an area of 270，000 square meters， the production center of the wine city is one of the largest monomer wine producing plants in the globe.
