祝福、禮物、蛋糕、賀卡……這樣的生日派對肯定是令人欣喜的。那同學(xué)們又是否知道，女巫溫妮的生日派對會是怎樣的呢？本期Joey老師和大家分享的故事就是Happy Birthday， Winnie，我們一起來看看女巫溫妮是怎么籌辦她的生日派對的吧！

When Winnie the Witch turned over（翻過） the page on her calendar（日歷）， she saw a big red circle around Friday（周五） the thirteenth.

"Thats my birthday（生日）！" she said.

"Ill have a party（派對）this year， Wilbur.""Purr，" said Wilbur. He loved parties.

"What kind of party？" Winnie wondered（思考）.

"I know， a garden（花園）party."

當(dāng)女巫溫妮翻過一頁日歷，她看見本周星期五，即十三號這天畫著一個(gè)紅色的大圓圈，原來她的生日就快到了，所以她想要舉辦一個(gè)花園派對，同學(xué)們猜猜，溫妮會怎么準(zhǔn)備她的生日派對呢？

On Monday（周一）Winnie wrote out the invitations（邀請函）and sent them by Winni-email.

On Tuesday（周二）she made herself a party dress， and a matching bow（蝴蝶結(jié)）for Wilbur.

On Wednesday（周三）Winnie made lots and lots of（許多）food.

Thursday（周四）Winnie took out her wand， waved it， shouted， ABRACADABRA！

And the garden was ready for （準(zhǔn)備好）the party.

發(fā)出邀請函，裝扮好花園，準(zhǔn)備好食物，周五馬上就要到了。這場生日派對會是怎樣的呢？

At two oclock Winnies guests（客人）arrived（到達(dá)）.

"Happy birthday， Winnie，" they shouted（呼喊）， and they piled up（堆起來）the presents（禮物）on the lawn（草地）.

Wanda， Wilma and Wendy gave Winnie a magic carpet（魔毯）.

Aunty Alice gave her a Book of Special Spells（魔咒書）， and there was a magic trumpet（魔法小號）from Cousin Cuthbert.

賓客們給溫妮帶來了溫暖的生日祝福，而且奇妙精巧的禮物更是讓W(xué)innie應(yīng)接不暇。派對即將開始，我們來看看他們都會玩哪些派對游戲吧！

First they played musical broomsticks（音樂掃帚）.

Uncle Owen pushed Aunty Alice into a prickle（帶刺的） bush. Ouch！

Cousin Cuthbert bounced off（彈開）a broomstick and landed（掉進(jìn)）in the fountain（噴泉）.

"The next game is hide-and-seek（捉迷藏），" Winnie shouted.

But there was so much noise （噪音）nobody heard（聽得到）her.

So Winnie picked up her new magic trumpet（魔法小號）.

Toot， toot， toot， Winnie tootled...

and everybody disappeared（消失了）.

Winnie was cross（著急）. Where had they gone？

溫妮吹響了魔法小號，想要引起大家的注意。然而，突然之間，所有的賓客都消失了！正當(dāng)溫妮焦急萬分時(shí)，她看到了魔法小號的溫馨提示！是什么呢？

IMPORTANT（重要）： to make people disappear（消失）， toot three times.

to make them come back， stand on your head（倒立） and toot three times.

So Winnie stood on her head. Toot， toot， toot， she tootled...and everybody came back.

"And now its time for the surprise，" said Winnie. She opened her new Book of Special Spells（魔咒書）.

"Shut your eyes and think about your favorite cake！" she said.

Aunty Alice thought about chocolate（巧克力）cake.

Cousin Cuthbert thought about rainbow（彩虹） cake.

Wilbur thought about cheese（芝士）cake.

Then Winnie the Witch shut her eyes， turned around three times， and shouted， ABRACADABRA！

And there was the biggest（最大的）birthday cake in the whole world（全世界）， with candles（蠟燭）on the top.

溫妮閉上了雙眼，用第二份生日禮物——魔咒書，在眾人眼前變出了全世界最大的蛋糕。哇，這會是一個(gè)怎樣的蛋糕呀？

There was a layer（層）of chocolate cake， a layer of fruit cake， a layer of rainbow cake， a layer of cheese cake.

"How will you blowout（吹滅）the candles？" asked Cousin Cuthbert.

"Thats easy，" Winnie rode（騎上）on her magic carpet（魔法飛毯） to the top of the cake.

Puff， puff， puffffffff！

"Ha ha ha，" laughed Winnie.

"This party is such fun， Wilbur！ Im a very lucky witch."

Wilbur didnt say anything.

His mouth was full（充滿了）of cheese cake. What a lucky black cat！

原來溫妮把大家喜歡的蛋糕都放在了一起，變成了一座巨型“蛋糕塔”！接著，溫妮乘上“魔法飛毯”，不費(fèi)吹灰之力就來到了蛋糕最頂層吹滅了蠟燭。生日派對就這樣降下了帷幕，這份珍貴的回憶會伴隨著溫妮一生的。

其實(shí)，生日派對只是一個(gè)形式，更重要的是可以收獲大家對自己的祝福，畢竟，被深深愛著就是最大的幸運(yùn)呀！ 希望各位同學(xué)的家庭和友誼就像溫妮最后給大家準(zhǔn)備的驚喜那樣——甜甜蜜蜜，長長久久。
