One Thing I'll Never Forget

As a student， I dont have any great event to talk about， but here I want to share my experience of preparing for the high school entrance examination.

During the first three years of junior school，we were very happy and free.But we often heard that Grade 4 would be a hell. After the final exam of Grade 3 in June， everything blew onto our faces： teachers changing， harder and harder texts， terrible pressure and of course the graduate exam. Where your position was on the list board became the most important thing in our life. We had to study hard day and night， always from 6：00 a.m. to 1：00 or 2：00 a.m. the next day.

But I must say that its really an unforgettable memory in my life. Under the pressure we lived our life to the fullest， and enjoyed the true interesting things that we may have never cared before. Grade 4 in junior school was a turning point in my life. My attitude to learning， my world outlook and my philosophy of life all changed. I turned to be positive and strong. I also gained many peoples true & pure friendship， ?both teachers and classmates. In some way， I like that kind of life， as it taught me many things Id never learned before.

Teachers also helped me a lot. I still cant forget that my history teacher talked to me until 10：00 p.m. on April 30th， 2003， for my application. My head teacher also encouraged me， so did my Chinese teacher. I should say， all my teachers worked very hard and always neglected their sleep and meals. Even if some of them were about 50 and often fell ill， they never left us one day.

The last and greatest challenge was of course the final exam， also my high school entrance exam. I felt very well and comfortable except my chemistry physics exams. The result proved that I couldnt have done worse in them. But in total， my mark is O.K. So then I became a student in the best high school of Hubei Province.

We， teachers and students， got together in East Lake Hotel on June 4th， 2003. At the moment of saying goodbye， I felt that my time of junior had gone， and my senior time was coming.

Today， I looked at my graduate photos again， and， I smiled.

He once hesitated， struggled， feared and doubted， like an ordinary man would do. But he just "stays at the door of fate"， ?as the name of his newly-written book says， and waits till the door opens instead of leaving during the half way.

That Moved Me

Time is like water flowing in general， a lot of the passed days with the memory has disappeared， and fade. But one thing， let me remember， deeply touched-that a depth of a mother's love.

That morning I was just about to go to school， back schoolbag mother handed me an umbrella， said： "jingjing， the weather forecast today have rain， or take your umbrella with you." I looked up at the sky， the clear sky， how can it rains？ I threw out the door to run away and disappear， an umbrella.

While at noon of time， suddenly school， thunder and lightning flash storm under a rush. The rain gear with the students went home， others have been parents picked up. My father taught school in the field， never coming home at noon. Just right， mom this few days a high fever under drip. I don't think someone will come to meet me. I sit in the classroom， again nasty and hungry， was looking out the window of the heavy rain， hua hua straight I couldn't help crying.

At this time， the heavy rain in appeared a familiar figure. Oh， mom！?。?！ Gale heavy rain seems to be swallowed up the mother like. Mom struggled hard to me about.

"Jingjing， come here， wear a raincoat." Mother， talking and take off on the raincoat over my body. At this time， it was raining harder and harder. My mother's hair， on the face， body all under the rain thoroughly. Looking at the "rat" like mom， looked at her the pale face， I can't help but cry up......

Dream

It has been over 100 years since the very first plane， invented by the Wright Brothers， flew into the sky. The first plane， which was made of wood， had only been able to fly for 12 seconds in the air， but it opened the door of the aviation world. I wonder how the Wright brothers would imagine such a magnificent idea.

They must have some kind of dream—human beings like birds， flying freely in space—they attempted various kinds of material to make planes， finally making their dream come true， although only a short 12 seconds for the first flight！ We students often have different dreams： to be scientists， engineers， doctors， etc. Like the Wright brothers when they were young， we should try our best to experience different things， for example， going out of doors to watch different animals， watching butterflies in the air， or watching fish in the water. With more knowledge in these fields， we can become biologists in the future. Generally speaking， wed better make greater efforts in our studies.

In this way， we can make our dreams come true， not only like the Wright brothers in the sky， but also like Yang Liwei in outer space.

The Person I Admire

The person I admire is my mum. She is an English teacher. She is very popular among the students because she spends lots of time on her lessons and has a good sense of humor. Students all enjoy her class.

My mum is not only a good teacher but also a great mother. She is patient with me and always smiling while talking. My mum teaches me how to think independently and helps me to build up my confidence. When I have some difficulties in my studies it is my mum who encourages me to work until I solve the problem. When Im feeling sad or bad it is also my mum who looks after me with care.

I remember when I caught a fever at midnight last year my mum took me to the hospital as fast as she could. When we got home after my injection it was about 5 oclock in the early morning. My mum only slept 2 hours because she had to wake up at 7 oclock to prepare breakfast for me and then she went to work. She must be very tired that day.

My mum is not very beautiful but I admire her.

Knowledge is Power

Recently there has been a discussion regarding the issue of knowledge in the newspaper. As can be seen from the picture， knowledge is symbolized by a clenched fist as power. The fist sends out message for "obedience"， threatening to crack with power any hard nut. The more demanding and challenging a task is， the more powerful the fist seems to grow. Similarly， knowledge， the strongest power for human beings， feeds up the field of science and technology. The more advanced and developed a field is， the more profound knowledge seems to become.

A specific example is the dumping of Mir， Russia's space station. As is the case of the Russian space program， the country could no longer afford to keep Mir aloft in orbit because of lack of financial support. Therefore， Russia decided to dump the space station. The effect is both immediate and far reaching. As far as the present is concerned， the successful launching and dumping has proved to the world that mankind， armed with profca. Knowledge， cannot just build things but can operate them welt. For the distant impact， the once- in- a- lifetime success provides man with valuable and indispensable experience for manned space flight in the years to crane. Then， someday in the future， them might appear in space more Mars， visiting Mars， spreading friendship， parading the perfect mastery of knowledge.

I Love English

When I was seven， I started learning English. I played games and sang English songs with other children. Sometimes， I watched English cartoons. It's funny. Then I discovered the beauty of the language， and began my colorful dream in the English world.

I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit Washington， because my cousin is over there. Of course， I want to go to London too， because England is where English language developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge University， I will be very happy.

I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. Also I'll introduce China to them， such as the Great Wall， and the gardens in Suzhou. I will teaching people of the world about the beautiful language of our country.

I like the English language. To learn English is wonderful. I once wanted to be an English teacher. I also like Chinese literature. When I was really young， I was able to remember lots of poems. I also wanted to be a teacher of Chinese. Now I think that both of my dreams can come true： I will be able to use English to teach foreign friends Chinese and share Chinese culture with them. So that more and more people will be able to get to know the 5000 years' history culture， and the prosperity of our great China.

My future is not a dream. I am confident that it will come true.

Fishing

Everybody has some hobbies.

I like playing soccer， watching TV， listening to music. but fishing is my favorite relaxation.

I like fishing not because I like to eat fish but because I enjoy the wonderful time while I am fishing.

My father has a friend named Huang Cheng who lives in the countryside and owns a big fish pond. He is good at fish-farming. There are many kinds of fish in his fish pond. He can easily support his family with the income from the fish pond.

Last Sunday was a lovely， sunny day. My father drove me to his friend's place with two new fishing rods， which he bought not long ago. The scene was really beautiful there in the countryside. Uncle Huang took us to a very good place for fishing and gave us some bait-earth worms. First， I was a little afraid of the Earthworms. Uncle Huang taught me how to use them. Then we started to fish.

My father put some fish food into the water. Soon the part of the water attracted many fish to gather there. As soon as I put the fishhook into the water， the fish nibbled at the bait. I thought that it rose to the bait. So I raised the fishing rod， the fish swam away and my fishing line got entangled in some weeds. What a pity！ I was too impatient. I should have waited for the fish to snap at the bait for some time and then I could catch it.

So from then on， I became very careful and patient. At last， I caught eight big fish and my father caught only three little fish. I was so happy with my success in fishing. Fishing can make me more and more patient and confident！ I love fishing！

My Childhood Time

Since I went to middle school， I left my hometown and moved to the city to live with my parents. I missed the time when I stayed at my hometown. I was so close to the nature， and I could see green trees and beautiful flowers. The most important thing was that I had a great time to play with my friends. The small place was full of my memory about my childhood. I liked to catch fish in the clear water. In summer， the water was cool and I stepped into the water to enjoy the coolness. Now I am getting used to the new environment， and have made many friends and happy about it.

Summer Camp Activities

Every year， my school will have the summer camp activity. I love to join this activity so much， because I can have a lot of fun with my friends. Whats more， I can take a break from the study time and enjoy my moment. Last year， we went to the country farm and experienced the life there. I was so impressed by the clear river and simple lifestyle. We woke up early and then walked on the country road， it was so quiet and the air was so fresh. In the city， I never woke up so early. I felt really peaceful in my heart. Though life here was simple， I liked it. I was so close to the nature and could appreciate its beauty. I am so looking forward to the summer camp activity this year， I want to experience the different things.

A Letter to Mom and Dad

Dear Mum and Dad，

Time flies！ I've been here for nearly a year. I'm very pleased to find that our school is really a good one. The students in our school work hard at their lessons. They take an active part in activities that help to improve their qualities and health. They are friendly to each other and always ready to help each other.

The teachers here all enjoy their work and they love their students. They work hard and do what they can do to help their students. And the students respect their teachers. They get on well with each other. The students in our school try their best to keep the school yard clean and tidy. They never throw waste about nor pick the flowers.

In a word， I am deeply impressed by the harmonious atmosphere in this school. I love my new school.

The First Day of School

Today， I was so excited because I finally became a high school student， which meant my life came to a new chapter. On the first day， my parents went with me to school. They brought my luggage and helped me to finish the registration. I was so impressed by the slogan that was tagged on the main gate， which was Help Your Parents Carry Luggage. When I saw those words， I realized most of us carried nothing at hand， but our parents did the job. We are almost 16 and not a little kid anymore， so it is natural for us to learn grow up and become independent. Taking luggage is just a small symbol for us to be independent. We need to complete all the things by ourselves in the following three years. When we can handle our stuff by ourselves， we are mature.

Chinese Features are Everywhere

China has the largest population around the world. According to the report， there is one Chinese people among five people， what's more， as the development of Chinese economy， the world is seeking cooperation with Chinese businessmen， there is no doubt that Chinese economy market is booming. As a result， many foreign countries want to win Chinese tourists， so they put forward many products that are attached with Chinese features. Such as Chinatown， which is a place for Chinese people to work and live. Almost every corner has such a place in the world. Many shops have followed the trend to pay online， just to cater to Chinese tourists， because they get used to use Alipay. People play the joke that even they are in foreign countries， they just feel like home， and many foreigners can speak Chinese. The rise of Chinese economy power is still increasing.

One Thing Touched Me

Parents are the people who care about us the most. But for a lot children， they think it is necessary for parents to give them everything. As they grow up， they start to realize their responsibility and feel grateful to their parents. I was very naughty before. One day， I hanged out to play with my friends very late， but I haven't told my parents， because I thought they would not care. But when I went home， I found my parents and uncle were sitting together， and they looked very upset. When my parents saw me， they were angry to ask me why I went home so late. I felt unhappy and shouted at them. Then my uncle told me that my parents worried about me so much， and they had searched me for the whole street. At this moment， I felt so touched， and felt their love.
