Modern Express reporter contacted Liu Qiaos roommate and counselor teacher in Nanjing University， who said Liu Qiao was brilliant in their memory and that scene holding an umbrella in the rain for his son matched peoples impression on him. Every afternoon after work Liu Qiao will go to Fala Hong Wah Nursery School to pick up his four-year-old son home， for which reason he begins to work at 7 in the morning. Liu Qiao told the World News Network reporter the photos were taken in September 10th. Because of the sudden rain， he only took a spare umbrella in the office to pick up his son.“When I was waiting at the kindergarten gate， it suddenly poured raining. My home is near， so there is no need to avoid rain.” Liu Qiao said that giving the only umbrella to his son in the rain was a very natural instinct and getting praised so widely was beyond his expectation.
