When I was a child， I had no idea what the homeland meant. I just knew that I lived in a place where there was no war but peace and happiness. However， I didnt know how many soldiers had lost their lives to defend our motherland and how much pain she had in her memory.

Now， as a teenager in the 21st century， I am proud of being a Chinese student！ Many years ago，my motherland was deeply hurt by the enemies， and she was in danger of being destroyed. But Chinese people never gave in and they fought against the enemies bravely！ Chinese people have proved themselves. Gone is the name of “the sick man of East Asia” ， forever. Now we are getting stronger and stronger.

I love my homeland！ Nowadays， we have safe society and beautiful environment. We Chinese teenagers should study hard and try our best to shoulder our responsibilities for our homeland.

I love my homeland！ I love China！

Im so proud that Ive got the beautiful yellow skin， black eyes and black hair. Im also proud that I speak Chinese which is the most beautiful language in my heart.

China has more than five thousand years history， and it is one of the biggest countries in the world. Every time I talk about Chinese culture to the foreign people， they speak highly of it.

You know， the capital of China is Beijing. There are so many beautiful places of interest there， including the Imperial Palace， Tiananmen Square， the Great Wall and so on. Also， the food is delicious and Chinese people are friendly.

In a word， China is such a beautiful country that I love it very much.

Homeland is the best place for everybody， including me. I live in ChangSha（長沙）， which is known to people in China as the city of beautiful scenery， it is also well known for its history. As for me， ChangSha has left many sweet and soft memories in my heart.

ChangSha is the capital of Hunan Province， it receives a lot of visitors every year because of its famous historical places. YueLu mountain is the best example of this. When you climb to the top of the mountain， fresh air will fill your chest， and this will make you feel relaxed and comfortable. But that is just one of the reasons I love ChangSha.

Another reason is that ChangSha people are warm-hearted and friendly. In fact， people in ChangSha can talk wherever they are， even on buses. They often invite people to their homes and taste the food which they cook themselves.

All in all， ChangSha not only carries my childhood memories， but also represents Chinas wonderful culture and natural beauty. And this is my homeland which I deeply love.

My hometown is Weifang（濰坊）. It is located in the middle of Shandong Peninsula. Its a beautiful city with a long history. A number of famous people came from our city， such as Jia Sixie（賈思勰）， Zhang Zeduan（張擇端）， Liu Yong（劉墉） and so on.

There are lots of beautiful mountains， rivers， lakes and ancient villages. Weifang is also famous for its kites and is known as the “International Kite Capital”.

Now transport has become more convenient. There are airports， highways， high-speed railway stations and railway stations in Weifang.Every year，thousands of people from China and other countries come to visit our city.

People of our city are all hard working. Though they are having a rich and good life， they are still working hard to build their city into a modern one.

Today， the villagers are living a happy life. High buildings can be seen everywhere.
