從新疆喀什向亞洲腹地前行，進(jìn)入比鄰而居的巴基斯坦伊斯蘭共和國，在那些寸草未生的懸崖陡壁上，一條細(xì)細(xì)的痕跡向著大山深處不斷延伸……那里，已經(jīng)沒有了帶著大漢使命出訪西域的張騫的身影，也沒有了商貿(mào)駝隊(duì)的熙攘；那里，靜謐無聲，卻述說著一段關(guān)于古絲綢之路的過往；那里，風(fēng)化千年，但每一粒砂石都封存著中巴交往的點(diǎn)滴。

20世紀(jì)60年代，一條北起喀什，穿越喀喇昆侖山脈、帕米爾高原、喜馬拉雅山脈西端，南到巴基斯坦北部城市塔科特，全長(zhǎng)1032公里的喀喇昆侖公路，讓中巴友好往來的通道從千年前延續(xù)至今。

而今，再一次從中國喀什啟程，一路延伸至巴基斯坦瓜達(dá)爾港口，一條關(guān)乎兩國經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展的走廊正在兩國的版圖上徐徐展開。這條全長(zhǎng)3000公里的中巴經(jīng)濟(jì)走廊，將以瓜達(dá)爾港、能源建設(shè)、交通基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施和產(chǎn)業(yè)合作為重點(diǎn)，推進(jìn)和深化中巴兩國在能源、安全、經(jīng)濟(jì)等多個(gè)領(lǐng)域的合作。它是“一帶一路”倡議的樣板工程和旗艦項(xiàng)目，它為巴基斯坦的發(fā)展提供了重要機(jī)遇，它備受世界關(guān)注。

從數(shù)千年的古之交往，到1951年正式建交，再從戰(zhàn)略合作伙伴關(guān)系升級(jí)為全天候戰(zhàn)略合作伙伴關(guān)系，中巴兩國的交往合作以層層遞進(jìn)的方式發(fā)展著。

在七八月最火熱的季節(jié)，本刊記者沿著中巴經(jīng)濟(jì)走廊行進(jìn)，探訪一個(gè)個(gè)正在落地落實(shí)的項(xiàng)目，采訪一位位奉獻(xiàn)其中的建設(shè)者，為讀者展現(xiàn)走廊建設(shè)的“進(jìn)行時(shí)”。

中巴經(jīng)濟(jì)走廊行記，讓我們一起作“一帶一路”的見證者、親歷者。

Our journey to the hinterland of Asia started in Kashgar， Xinjiang and ended in our neighbor the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. A small crack in the barren cliff extends into the depths of the mountains... Here， the story of Zhang Qian who undertook the mission of the Western Han Dynasty in the Western Regions and the bustle of the camel caravans have long fallen into oblivion. This is a tranquil land recounting stories that happened on the Ancient Silk Road. Weathering has left its mark on this land but every grain of sand has a story to tell about China-Pakistan friendship.

In the 1960s， the 1，032-kilometer-long Karakoram Highway was built. It connects Kashgar in the north with the northern Pakistani city of Thakot， passing through the Karakoram Mountains， the Pamirs， and the western end of the Himalayas and lengthening the life of the trade route between China and Pakistan.

Today， an economic corridor that matters enormously to the economic development of the two countries is slowly unfolding on the territory of the two countries. It starts in Kashgar， China， and reaches the port of Gwadar in Pakistan. The 3，000-kilometer-long ChinaPakistan Economic Corridor will focus on Gwadar Port， energy construction， transportation infrastructure and industrial cooperation to promote and deepen cooperation between China and Pakistan in various fields such as energy， security and economy. It is a model flagship project under the Belt and Road Initiative， providing an important opportunity for the development of Pakistan and receiving worldwide attention.

The friendly ties between China and Pakistan could be date back to thousands of years ago. In 1951， the two countries established diplomatic relations. Later， their strategic partnership was upgraded to all-weather strategic partnership. The exchanges and cooperation between China and Pakistan are progressing steadily.

In July and August， the hottest season here， we traveled along the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and visited the projects that were being implemented. We interviewed those who were making contributions and showcased the progress of the corridor in real time.

Our journey to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor makes us the witnesses of the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative.
