虛實之間

《蘭登國際：萬物與虛無》本次展覽名稱取自視頻裝置《萬物與虛無》(2016)。該作品嘗試探討人類如何在充斥科技的環(huán)境之中自處的核心問題。這是蘭登國際首個影像作品，記錄了在無情的變革時代中，工業(yè)化世界衰敗與進步同時并行的現(xiàn)象。作品中重復(fù)轉(zhuǎn)動的蒸汽壓路機，具備壓合與粉碎、破壞與重建的潛在特性，象征著一個無節(jié)制革新的文化內(nèi)所固有的含混不清、模棱兩可。

Between the Virtual and the Real World

Random International: Everything &Nothing

The name of the exhibition is taken from the video installation Everything & Nothing (2016). The work attempts to explore the core issues of how human beings can live in a technology-rich environment.This is Random International's first video work, recording the parallelism of the decline and progress of the industrialized world in the era of relentless change. The steam roller that rotates repeatedly in the work has the potential characteristics of press-fitting and crushing, and destruction and reconstruction, and symbolizes the ambiguity inherent in an uncontrolled innovation culture.

北京當代芭蕾舞團舞劇《蓮》

舞劇《蓮》以舞蹈肢體語言來解讀小說《金瓶梅》，選擇了小說中情感最豐富、形象最典型、發(fā)展最矛盾的人為主角，通過放大他們的情感世界，將小說中的精神核心與社會價值表現(xiàn)出來。僅僅從原著中提煉出三個片段，構(gòu)成精彩的三幕劇情，分別表述潘金蓮勾引武二郎不成、出于嫉妒心設(shè)計李瓶兒流產(chǎn)、害西門慶死于情欲之巔的舞臺故事。

The dance drama The Golden Lotus interprets the novel Jin Ping Mei(The Plum in the Golden Vase) with the dancing. The drama selects the ones with the richest emotions,the most typical images and the most contradictions in the novel as the main characters. Through zooming in their emotional world,the drama expresses the spiritual core and social values in the novel.Only three fragments are extracted from the original book, which constitutes a wonderful three-act plot, respectively describing the stage stories of Pan Jinlian’s failing to seduce Wu Song, out of jealousy setting Li Ping’er up to miscarry and leading the insatiable and corrupt Ximen Qing to die in orgy.
