Step 1.Warm-up

呈現(xiàn)中國地圖

T:Look at the map,which ountry is it?

Ss:China.

T:Yes,and what do you think of our mother country?

S1:It’s very big.

S2:It’s very fun.There are many beautiful p laces.

S3:It’s very nice.You can eat nice food here.

T:Yes,it’s big,fun,and nice.All in all,we can say it’s very“interesting”.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：上課伊始，談?wù)搶W(xué)生熟知的中國，創(chuàng)設(shè)真實(shí)的語境，引出本節(jié)課的文眼“interesting”，利于學(xué)生的理解，也為后面引出Australia埋下伏筆。

Step 2.Pre-reading

1.Think and guess

T:China is an interesting country,so is this country.What country is it?(呈現(xiàn)澳大利亞的地圖)

2.Do a survey

T:What do you know about Australia?What is interesting in Australia?

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過調(diào)查，了解學(xué)生對(duì)于澳大利亞的已有認(rèn)知，激活相關(guān)背景知識(shí)，并且激發(fā)學(xué)生探求澳大利亞的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。

Step 3.While-reading

1.How to find out about Australia

(1)Introduce the narration.

T:Today the children also want to learn about Australia.“The children will learn about Australia next week.They want to find out about this country before the lessons”.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：上個(gè)單元學(xué)生已經(jīng)學(xué)過be going to句型，通過引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進(jìn)行will=be going to的同義句轉(zhuǎn)換，學(xué)生在語境中能初步感知will的功能及其使用規(guī)律。Find out這一詞組也是本節(jié)課的一個(gè)難點(diǎn)，通過置身于情境中并聯(lián)系上下文，學(xué)生能找到意思相近的詞進(jìn)行替換，易于理解。這也是學(xué)生在閱讀過程中解決生詞問題的一項(xiàng)有效策略。

教師以Mike為例，示范如何快速做筆記。（e.g.I’ll ask my e-friend in Australia.=ask efriend）

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：學(xué)生應(yīng)該在平時(shí)的課堂上養(yǎng)成記筆記的習(xí)慣，教師在課堂上需要引導(dǎo)學(xué)生關(guān)注“記什么”和“怎么記”。本節(jié)課上教師通過示范，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生如何提取關(guān)鍵信息。只有通過課堂上的示范→訓(xùn)練→再示范→再訓(xùn)練，才能培養(yǎng)學(xué)生快速提取信息、記錄信息的能力，真正實(shí)現(xiàn)聽力的提升。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過引導(dǎo)學(xué)生思考使用不同方法背后的原因，探索現(xiàn)象背后的本質(zhì)，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生想象、推理等能力。同時(shí)運(yùn)用本課的功能句型“...will...”闡述理由，進(jìn)一步運(yùn)用該句型，真正實(shí)現(xiàn)了語言和思維同步發(fā)展。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過速讀圈畫關(guān)鍵詞，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生快速提取信息的能力。但是，對(duì)于六年級(jí)學(xué)生而言，這樣的要求顯然過低。通過教師話語的引導(dǎo)，不僅要求學(xué)生能夠提取信息，還要學(xué)會(huì)提煉和概括信息，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生解釋信息的能力，真正實(shí)現(xiàn)英語學(xué)科關(guān)鍵能力的提升。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過看圖片、觀視頻，以不同形式的語言輸入讓學(xué)生感受澳大利亞各方面有趣的知識(shí)，豐富了學(xué)生的文化體驗(yàn)；通過對(duì)比、分析、思考，以多種形式的語言輸出，讓學(xué)生感受中西方文化的差異，開拓了學(xué)生的文化視野。

Step 4.Post-reading

1.Listen and imitate.聽錄音，跟讀課文，注意模仿語音、語調(diào)。

2.Choose the way you like to read.小組選擇一個(gè)喜歡的方式朗讀課文。

3.Can you be a good Australian tourist guide?

(1)How to make your introduction more attractive?

(2)How to organize your introduction?

(3)Let’s make the better introduction to Australia in groups and have PK between groups.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：以“成為澳洲小導(dǎo)游”為任務(wù)驅(qū)動(dòng)，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生關(guān)注文本的語言和篇章的結(jié)構(gòu)，有利于提高學(xué)生的閱讀能力、文本信息的記憶速度和記憶容量，有利于提升學(xué)生的邏輯思維能力，進(jìn)一步促進(jìn)學(xué)生的口頭表達(dá)和書面寫作能力。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回顧本課所學(xué)，同時(shí)進(jìn)一步跳出文本，反思還想了解哪些關(guān)于澳洲的信息，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的發(fā)散思維和反思意識(shí)，也為下節(jié)課埋下伏筆。最后，教師鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生通過不同方式搜集更多有關(guān)澳洲的知識(shí)，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生積極面對(duì)問題：方法總比問題多，情感教育潤物無聲。

2.Being a tourist guide:introduce Australia to your parents.試著做一名小導(dǎo)游，向你的爸爸媽媽介紹一下澳大利亞吧。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：鞏固復(fù)習(xí)本節(jié)課的重難點(diǎn)，運(yùn)用所學(xué)嘗試搜集資料并介紹有關(guān)澳洲的知識(shí)，真正做到“學(xué)以致用”。
