泰國航空與空中客車達成合作 構(gòu)筑航空和物流新實力

空中客車和泰國航空公司最近達成協(xié)議，雙方將成立合資公司，在泰國芭堤雅附近U-Tapao國際機場機建立一個維修和檢修設施中心（MRO），為國際展覽組織者提供一個優(yōu)良的物流著陸帶。

該中心將是亞太地區(qū)最現(xiàn)代化、功能最完善的中心之一，為所有寬體飛機類型提供一系列維修和線路服務，并成為泰國東部經(jīng)濟走廊（EEC）價值高達110億銖（約合3億美元）的“AuroPulIS”計劃的一部分。在該計劃中，將有航空航天相關(guān)支持產(chǎn)業(yè)加入空中客車公司，創(chuàng)建一個區(qū)域內(nèi)的航空航天社區(qū)。

Thailands partnership with Airbus demonstrates a newfound strength in aviation and logistics

The recent joint venture agreement between Airbus and Thai Airways for a maintenance and overhaul facility（MRO） at Thailands U-Tapao International Airport near Pattaya， presents a figurative landing strip for international exhibition organisers.

The development， one of the most modern and extensive centres in the Asia-Pacific region， offers heavy maintenance and line services for all widebody aircraft types， and becomes part of Thailands Eastern Economic Corridor （EEC） 11 billion baht （US$334.4m）‘Aeropolis plan. The plan will see aerospace support industries join Airbus to create a regional aerospace community.

IMEX America獎勵旅游展踐行可持續(xù)發(fā)展措施

作為全球化的獎勵旅游博覽會，IMEX America 2018將在拉斯維加斯金沙會展中心舉辦，緊隨10月15日由專業(yè)會議人士協(xié)會主辦的會獎行業(yè)活動Smart Monday之后。

今年的美國國際會展、會議及獎勵旅游展覽IMEX America將首次推出展位廢紙專門回收服務，并將在過道擺放更多分類回收垃圾桶，采取更多環(huán)保措施來支持環(huán)保事業(yè)。目標是在2018年把垃圾轉(zhuǎn)化率提升到90%以上。此外，主辦方還將設立一個“回收”展位，取代之前的“企業(yè)社會責任與可持續(xù)發(fā)展展位”，展示環(huán)保創(chuàng)意與能源創(chuàng)新方案。

IMEX ups sustainability efforts

For the first time at IMEX America this year， paper recycling from booths will be collected separately and the supply of four-stream recycling bins in communal areas will be increased. This will be just part of what will push IMEX America towards its 2018 waste diversion goal of 90%. A new Giving Back Booth （formerly the CSR & Sustainability Showcase） will feature ideas and activities for getting involved. IMEX America， Americas worldwide exhibition for incentive travel， meetings & events， will take place October 16 to 18， 2018 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center.

瑞典斯德哥爾摩會展中心獲2018年度UFI運營與服務大獎

8月30日，國際展覽業(yè)協(xié)會（UFI）宣布，瑞典斯德哥爾摩會展中心獲得2018年度UFI運營與服務大獎。會展中心推出了“機器人指路員”項目，將繁冗的指路任務轉(zhuǎn)化成為只需要一名操作員整體監(jiān)控的輕松任務。

今年的UFI運營與服務大獎旨在獎勵提升場館、展商和會展管理者效率的智能創(chuàng)新技術(shù)。決賽入圍名單包括：馬德里會展公司（西班牙）、Corferias會展公司（哥倫比亞）、名唐會展（中國）、俄勒岡展商指定服務商協(xié)會（美國）以及斯德哥爾摩展覽公司（瑞典）。最終，斯德哥爾摩展覽公司奪得桂冠。

Stockholmsm？ssan won the UFI Operations & Services Award 2018

On 30 August 2018， UFI， the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry， named Stockholmsm？ssan as winner of the UFI Operations & Services Award 2018， for their “Roboplotter” project – a robotised floor-marker system， transforming physically demanding labour into an easy task， managed by an operator.

This years award focused on smart and innovative technologies that deliver benefits and facilitate the work of venues， exhibitors and event managers. The shortlist included： IFEMA （Spain）， Corferias （Colombia）， Milton Exhibits （China）， EACA（Oregon） and Stockholmsm？ssan （Sweden）. However， after thorough consideration， Stockholmsm？ssan was chosen as the winner.
