From 30 August and 3 September 2018， the 14th China （Nanjing） International Software Product & Information Service Expo （CIS） was held in Nanjing International Expo Center. The Expo was sponsored by Peoples Government of Jiangsu Province， and jointly organized by Peoples Government of Nanjing Municipality and Jiangsu Economic and Information Technology Commission.

Zhang Feng， chief engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other VIP guests， as well as experts and scholars from more than 20 countries and regions， executives of enterprises attended the opening ceremony of the conference and the China Digital Economy Summit Forum.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Lan Shaomin， Mayor of Nanjing Municipal Government. Zhang Jinghua， Standing Committee member of Jiangsu Provincial Committee and Secretary of Nanjing Municipal Committee made important speeches on promoting the development of digital economy.

Digital World， Smart Future

The theme of this years Expo was "Digital World， Smart Future"， aiming to create an industrial development environment， display development results， explore industrial development trends， and promote trade and cooperation. Compared with past sessions， it was more internationalized， richer in content， more effective and more influential. The scale of the exhibition reached 110，000 square meters. More than 1，000 enterprises from over 20 countries and regions， such as the United States， Ireland， the Netherlands and India， participated in the exhibition. The Expo was an exchange and cooperation platform for global software enterprises.

Rich agenda to lead the frontier industry development

A series of forums and summits were held during the expo， covering hot topics such as industrial Internet， artificial intelligence， big data， cloud computing， integrated circuits， virtual reality and so on. The 7th China Software Cup Final of the University Software Design Competition and the signing ceremony of major projects were among the all-together some 20 activities.

Outstanding trade function， prominent trade platform

This Soft Expo gave more prominence to the trading function， promoted the docking of supply and demand in an all-round way， and accelerated the transformation to the trade fair of technology， products and talents. The demands of trade visitors were published via official website publication， media publicity and so on. At the same time， during the exhibition， on-site trading activities such as product launches， talent recruitment fairs and enterprise docking meetings were held to promote talent exchange， product trading and project cooperation.

It was worth mentioning that while maintaining a high degree of business， the Expo also showcased how high-tech products can be used for making everyday life more convenient and enjoyable.

China Online Exhibition Center was released

On the afternoon of 2nd of September， during the Expo China Online Exhibition Center was released was launched as Chinas first integrated online convention and exhibition Service Platform. The online platform made it possible for exhibition players to gather exhibition information and to look for business partners.

Extensive media attention， visitor number reached new heights

More than 30 mainstream media from central， provincial and municipal governments and more than 50 professional media have carried out coverage on the Soft Expo. While strengthening the propaganda of traditional media， we should make full use of new media and self-media to carry out propaganda， and use Wechat to broadcast live exhibition and theme events throughout the exhibition， thus facilitating the participation and interaction of online audiences. According to statistics， more than 120，000 spectators participated in the expo， of which more than 80% were trade visitors and enterprise users.

After 14 years of unremitting efforts， the Expo has become one of the most influential software brand exhibitions in China for promoting industry development.
