一進(jìn)大堂，紅色的圓形下沉沙發(fā)赫然入目，隨意落座便會(huì)有人前來辦理入住手續(xù)，不勞舉步。酒店里的服務(wù)人員都是本地錄用的員工，無論年輕年長(zhǎng)、無論工種，服務(wù)態(tài)度之體貼、服務(wù)用語(yǔ)之標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，相當(dāng)出乎我的意料。入住期間，經(jīng)常能看見總經(jīng)理在酒店的各個(gè)角落巡視，主動(dòng)幫搬行李。

而業(yè)主楊曉東先生毫無身架地躬身迎客，熱情導(dǎo)覽講解，仿佛在炫耀最心愛的收藏，可見酒店建造之用心。整個(gè)酒店只有117間客房，這種規(guī)模無疑會(huì)增加運(yùn)營(yíng)成本，然而業(yè)主方并沒有因此而增大客房新建筑的體量，為了不超過老建筑的高度不惜增加土方工程降低首層標(biāo)高。

設(shè)計(jì)自不必說，深入其中，隨處可見設(shè)計(jì)師對(duì)歷史的恭敬，自制竹膜混凝土、特制空心墻磚、開挖的巖石板鋪滿水池，沒有華美的裝飾，只有藝術(shù)品和時(shí)間的顏色。

入夜前的酒店外景不知觸動(dòng)了多少顆悸動(dòng)的靈魂，起伏的山巒襯著層層屋脊疊著根根桁柱點(diǎn)綴上棵棵白傘，被燈光影影綽綽投射在水面上，重復(fù)重復(fù)再重復(fù)的終極韻律之境！而這億萬年的山、五十年的房、新生的水恰恰好不期而遇，不得不說是業(yè)主的福報(bào)。

The focal point of the lobby is a round of red sunken sofa where guests could sit and relax. The hotel staff will come to the guests for check-in. Hotel staffs are all hired from the local people with professional service skills. The General Manager is often seen touring around in the hotel and offering help.

Alila Yangshuo houses only 117 rooms. Though fewer rooms means higher operational costs， the owner choose not to add more rooms. What's more， additional civil works were conducted to lower the first floor elevation so as not to exceed the height of the old buildings. From these measures we can see the owner indeed treat the hotel as his treasure.

Design of the hotel reveals respect to the history of the place. The usage of bamboo， hollow bricks and excavated rock plate are natural and artistic. The hotel's exterior is incredibly atmospheric at night when lights illuminate the looming mountains and the night sky. Guests staying in will for sure be touched by this romantic scene.
