The Contemporary Interpretation of the Folklore

酒店的室內(nèi)外設(shè)計(jì)由泰國著名設(shè)計(jì)公司A49和P49完成，實(shí)際上，這是一次建筑設(shè)計(jì)師與巴厘島當(dāng)?shù)厮囆g(shù)家聯(lián)合共同創(chuàng)造的呈現(xiàn)。酒店邀請(qǐng)巴厘島本土最活躍的藝術(shù)家們，以巴厘島的民間文化藝術(shù)和水明漾的社區(qū)風(fēng)格為靈感，用更現(xiàn)代化的形式把豐富的色彩和民俗元素注入進(jìn)來，幾乎每一個(gè)細(xì)節(jié)都可以追溯到15世紀(jì)，講述一段生動(dòng)的巴厘島歷史。

不同于傳統(tǒng)意義的大堂，這里的大堂空間被稱為“社區(qū)畫廊”，它不僅是接待客人的第一站，也是一處精心打造的藝術(shù)空間，更是客人了解巴厘島文化的窗口。每處設(shè)計(jì)的背后都大藏玄機(jī)。堂頂上大小錯(cuò)落的吊燈，原型是當(dāng)?shù)仉S處可見的蓬傘傘頂以及漁民捕魚的魚簍。貫穿整個(gè)酒店的菱形木格紋，則是以當(dāng)?shù)厝藚⒓幼诮虄x式所穿著的錦緞為靈感設(shè)計(jì)。散落在大堂四處、風(fēng)格各異的座椅，則是巴厘島的“百家椅”，酒店以此還原了當(dāng)?shù)厝藥е约乙巫釉陂T外相聚聊天的日常。

270間客房的室內(nèi)設(shè)計(jì)也隨處可見巴厘島的當(dāng)?shù)靥厣?。迷你吧如同自家的客廳一角，放有藝術(shù)家手作咖啡杯、本地自釀酒、簡易榨汁機(jī)......，而不論是一只小小垃圾桶還是大面積手織地毯，都是對(duì)當(dāng)?shù)厥止に嚨闹戮础?/p>

整個(gè)酒店橫跨 4.7 公頃，花園式室外景致由Belt Collins操刀設(shè)計(jì)，靈感則為傳遞這座神明之島的自然之美。院內(nèi)的石刻神龕和墻體結(jié)構(gòu)，是用當(dāng)?shù)亟ㄔ焐竦畹幕鹕绞坛?，引入巴厘島的文化之魂，墻體結(jié)構(gòu)的水簾設(shè)計(jì)則是巴厘島梯田灌溉系統(tǒng)的再創(chuàng)造。郁郁蔥蔥、景色宜人的庭院中種植著奇異美麗的植物，泳池隱匿在樹木豐茂的園林中，私密而別致。

酒店庭院內(nèi)坐落著19個(gè)配有私人室外泳池和大理石浴室的別墅，每棟別墅都有著顏色不同雕花繁復(fù)的大門，匠人精神可見一斑。別墅設(shè)計(jì)的靈感來源于體現(xiàn)神、生物和地球關(guān)系的“三”卡拉納哲學(xué)，巧妙地將當(dāng)代設(shè)計(jì)和古老傳統(tǒng)放在一起。每個(gè)別墅都像一所鄉(xiāng)間的巴厘島房子，由三個(gè)主要的區(qū)域組成：Nista Mandala——讓人們擁抱神的空間，Madya Mandala——與大自然融為一體的空間，以及Utama Mandala—— 與人交流的空間。

Designed by A49 （exteriors） and P49 （interiors）， who have worked on numerous award-winning properties throughout Asia Pacific， the hotel is actually the integrations of the architects and local artists. Inspired by Bali's folklore and Seminyak's neighborhood，Hotel Indigo invites some of the most active artists to input the beautiful colour and folklore elements into the hotel.

Different from the traditional lobby， the lobby here was called the \"neighborhood gallery\"，which is not only the first stop to welcome the guests， but also a delicate art space， a window for guests to know about Bali culture.

You can see Bali local features everywhere in the 270 rooms and suits. The mini bar is like the corner of your own home with hand-made mugs，locally-made alcohol， and juice squeezer， and from a trash can to the beautiful patterned carpet，almost everything is honoring the local art.

Sprawling over 4.7 hectares of land space， the alluring landscape by Belt Collins who deeply embraces the unsurpassed beauty of the island of Gods' natural setting through the presence of exotic plants and lush vegetation on the wall structures that portray Bali's irrigation system – Subak rice terrace.

19 villas with private swimming pool and marble bathroom are landed in the hotel's garden， and each door of the villa is in different colour and carved with sophisticated patterns， which indicates the artisans spirit. The design of the villas is inspired by a Balinese compound – \"Tri Mandala\" area separation concept.
