由山西省晉中市平遙縣政府和奧地利莫比烏斯藝術(shù)基金會共同倡導(dǎo)發(fā)起，由平遙國際雕塑節(jié)有限公司主辦的首屆平遙國際雕塑節(jié)于7月20日在平遙開幕。本屆雕塑節(jié)以“雕古塑今”為主題，分為四個不同主題：“國際對話”“中國精神”“平遙國際雕塑節(jié)達(dá)利畫廊”及作為平行展覽的第四部分，呈現(xiàn)“平遙國際雕塑節(jié)非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)展”“平遙國際雕塑節(jié)院校青年藝術(shù)家展”兩場展覽，共匯聚了近20個國家約70位藝術(shù)家的百余件作品。

Initiated by the Pingyao County Government of Jinzhong City,Shanxi Province and the Mobius Art Foundation of Austria,the first Pingyao International Sculpture Festival has opened on July 20thunder the host of Pingyao International Sculpture Festival Co.,Ltd.The theme of this year's sculpture festival,Ancient Sculptures Reflecting the Present,is categorized into four different minor themes: "international dialogue","Chinese spirit","Pingyao International Sculpture Festival Dali Gallery" and the fourth part as the parallel exhibition,presenting two exhibitions as "Pingyao International Sculpture Festival Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition" and "Pingyao International Sculpture Festival Exhibition of Academic Young Artists",convening a total of more than 100 works of about 70 artists from nearly 20 countries.
