On October 14th - 17th, “2017 Keqiao Fashion Week” (referred to as fashion week) will be launched in Keqiao, Zhejiang. Under the guidance of China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC), the fashion week is sponsored by People’s Government of Keqiao District of Shaoxing City,and co-organized by China Textile Information Center, China Textiles Development Center, Science and Technology Bureau of Keqiao District of Shaoxing City, Management Committee of China Textile City, Shenzhen Garment Industry Association, Department of Textile and Clothing of Hong Kong Polytech University and others. With the theme of “New Layout of Fashion”, the fashion week will gather national and global fashion creative,and multiple fashion powers combined with Keqiao design, manufacturing and brands, to start a fashion tour with the core of fashion creative fabrics.

During the fashion week, domestic fashion masters will gather in Keqiao, and numerous activities will make wonderful debut, including fashion brand show,fashion trend release, fashion creative show of famous designers and cutting-edge designers, as well as others. The main activities include China Women Fabric Fashion Trend Show / Static Exhibition, 2017 China Fashion Design Competition, Original Design Show of Keqiao, Brand Joint Show of Shenzhen Fashion Designer and so on.

Keqiao Fashion Week has been successfully held for two sessions since 2015. As a high-quality carrier,the fashion week has made great contribution to promote the rapid development of Keqiao textile industry and China textile fashion industry, from the fields of creation of creative platform, gathering of fashion resource, guidance of fashion trend, promotion of fashion design as well as landing of business value.

“Cloth” as core, to focus on fashion creative fabrics

With the orientation of “the first international fashion week with fashion creative fabric as the core”,2017 Keqiao Fashion Week is unique in China, and even in the world, which is based on strong industrial base and particular competitive advantage of Keqiao.In 2017, following a series of melodies of “Go global”,intelligent manufacturing,innovation and development,Keqiao spares no efforts to promote the transformation of traditional textile industry, vigorously layout fashion creative industry, and comprehensively build sustainable development matrix of the industry. As an important platform of fashion transformation, and international integrated innovation platform, Keqiao Fashion Week collects the power of industry, fashion and technology to build and improve Keqiao’s fashion status, fashion discourse and fashion charm, pushing Keqiao to be the frontier of new fashion.

Release of fashion trend for women’s fabrics

In the period of fashion week, “2018/19 Autumn & Winter China Women’s Fabric Trends Exhibition” will be held in Keqiao. The project of“2018/19 Autumn & Winter China Women’s Fabric Trends” is sponsored by the People’s Government of Keqiao District of Shaoxing City, and coorganized by China Textile Information Center, China Textiles Development Center, and Science and Technology Bureau of Keqiao District of Shaoxing City, which started in July and has gone through four stages: Trend Proposal, Trend Investigation, Fabric Collection and Wechat Intelligent Service Platform. At that time, the research will be released from four themes with“Iterative Innovation” as main concept.

In addition, with the theme of “Silk Road”, “Fashion Trend Show of China Women’s Fabric” will follow the guidance of fashion trend to release 50 sets of clothing series in western style from the four directions, and all clothes are mainly designed and guided by J.Queen, with the fabrics from local pioneer textile enterprises.

Promising young person polish fashion design with unique originality

In the fashion week, “Keqiao fashion element”, “Keqiao design” and“Keqiao manufacturing” are in everywhere,which brings out the best in each other with the brands and original fashion design power of Shenzhen and Hongkong.

In “Keqiao Local Original Design Show”, Gu Lin, founder of Beijing Red Phoenix Costume Design Studio and senior Chinese fashion designer,will join hands with Zhejiang Red Green Blue Textile Dyeing and Printing Co., Ltd., Yong sheng Group as well as designer Zhoujing and Su Xing, to present perfect works made by pioneer fabric enterprises and excellent fashion designers.

In “ITC Fashion Trend Release of Hong Kong Polytech University”,18 cutting-edge designers will release 60 sets of unique clothing design works of more than 20 series, to show diversified design concepts. “Shenzhen Fashion Designer Brand Jiont Show”, with the theme of “new interpretation of Shenzhen fashion”, combines international fashion elements to show four clothing brands and classic masterpiece of four original designers.

Drive the industry to build a fashion cradle

In 2017, “China Fashion Fabric Design Competition” and “Fabric China Fashion Creative Design invitational of Cutting-edge Designer” constitute a new“Double Hundred & Double Competitions”, which has become one of the important contents of “2017 Keqiao Fashion Week”. The activity aims to enhance China fashion fabric design ability and innovation ability of designers, so as to improve the “fashion discourse” of China textile industry, and achieve the vision of “fashion cradle”. The activity advocates the concept of trend leading product development, praises fashion original design and helps the growth of new forces. Meanwhile,it also focuses on the docking between product development and application in terminal market, to promote the landing of business value, improve market conversion and achieve collaborative innovation and win-win, by excavating and integrating the high-quality resources of the industrial chain.

It’s learned that, “2017 Fashion Week” will be held at the previous venue, and it also invites famous culture communication companies to join the whole production, as well as numerous international supermodels to guarantee the level and quality of the whole fashion week.
