一、教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1.學(xué)生能掌握重點(diǎn)詞匯及目標(biāo)語言。
2.掌握“by+動詞-ing形式”的用法。
二、教學(xué)重難點(diǎn)
(一)重點(diǎn)
1.重點(diǎn)詞匯:repeat,take notes,pen pal,physics,chemistry,memorize the sentence patterns。
2.目標(biāo)語言:
(1)I can understand the meaning by watching their body language and the expressions on their faces.
(2)My pronunciation improved as well by listening to the conversations in English movies.
(二)難點(diǎn)
1.熟練運(yùn)用目標(biāo)語言談?wù)撟约涸谟⒄Z學(xué)習(xí)中存在的困難和有效的學(xué)習(xí)方法。
2.在說的過程中體驗(yàn)、感知目標(biāo)語言等內(nèi)容,并學(xué)會運(yùn)用所學(xué)進(jìn)行簡單的寫作。
三、課前準(zhǔn)備
1.了解學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語中存在的困難;讓學(xué)生在小組內(nèi)匯總學(xué)習(xí)英語有效的學(xué)習(xí)方法。
2.課前掃描課本截圖。
3.學(xué)生提前帶好詞典。
4.準(zhǔn)備好錄音機(jī)、制作多媒體課件及學(xué)案。
四、教學(xué)過程設(shè)計(jì)
(一)創(chuàng)設(shè)情境,切入主題
Step 1:Lead-in
Ask students if they have any difficulties in learning English,and then ask others to give some advice.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過讓學(xué)生呈現(xiàn)英語學(xué)習(xí)中的困難并分享學(xué)習(xí)經(jīng)驗(yàn)導(dǎo)入話題,也為下一步的語言素材的導(dǎo)入和擴(kuò)展作鋪墊。
(二)展開過程,探究新知
Step 2:Presentation
1.While sharing how to learn English,present the new words.
2.Ask students to talk about how to learn English and try to use the new words and expressions.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:給予學(xué)生必要的輔助信息,談?wù)撚⒄Z學(xué)習(xí)中的困難和方法,讓學(xué)生有表達(dá)的欲望并能訴諸表達(dá)的實(shí)際行動,從而快樂高效地學(xué)習(xí)英語。
Step 3:Reading
Before reading
Ask students to predict what they will read in this passage with the help of the title and the picture. Make sure not to read the words in the passage. Show some questions to let the students to answer.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過指導(dǎo)學(xué)生捕捉視覺信息中有助于閱讀預(yù)測的“線索”如:標(biāo)題、插圖等,傳授一系列閱讀預(yù)測的方法和技巧,循序漸進(jìn)地培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的預(yù)測技能。
While reading:
1.Let students scan the passage and check their predictions.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:向?qū)W生講清楚閱讀預(yù)測的重要性,樹立學(xué)生掌握預(yù)測技能的決心和信心,激發(fā)他們的動機(jī)和興趣。
2.Get students to read the passage and try to find out the answers to the questions in 3a,and encourage students to ask their partners for help if needed.
Then check the answers.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:讓學(xué)生初次閱讀文本,按照3a要求完成活動,可以鼓勵學(xué)生在形成自己理解判斷的前提下,與周邊同學(xué)討論協(xié)商,修正、完善自己的作答,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)和合作學(xué)習(xí)的能力。
3.Ask students to read the passage more carefully again,and focus on the details about“...learn English by watching movies”.Complete 3b.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:要求學(xué)生再次閱讀文本,訓(xùn)練學(xué)生關(guān)注細(xì)節(jié)的能力。
After reading:
Get students to make sentences with the language points:an English movie called Toy Story,fall in love with...,the secret to...,a piece of cake,It serves someone right and so on.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:讀后進(jìn)行語言學(xué)習(xí)及操練,鼓勵學(xué)生運(yùn)用所學(xué)語言遣詞造句,在閱讀的基礎(chǔ)上訓(xùn)練寫作的能力。
Step 4:Grammar Focus
1.Ask students to read the sentences in this part and conclude the characteristics about verbs.
2.Read again and find out the ways of learning English.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過自我探究,自我發(fā)現(xiàn),自我總結(jié)知識的特征和規(guī)律,在感知體驗(yàn)中提升英語學(xué)習(xí)水平。
Step 5:Work on 4a&4b
1.Ask students to read the sentences,and then match the questions with answers in 4a.
2.Ask students to make sentences using the structure“do sth. by doing”. Use information that is true for you and fill in the blanks in 4b.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過連線和造句,讓學(xué)生鞏固目標(biāo)語言,并分享學(xué)習(xí)方法和經(jīng)驗(yàn)。
Step 6:Work on 4c
Work in pairs and encourage students to summarize the useful ways of learning English and then make their own learning plan.At last,ask students to report.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過說的方式輸出功能句型,并指導(dǎo)如何將所學(xué)運(yùn)用到實(shí)際交際中,說后進(jìn)行筆頭小結(jié),練習(xí)寫的能力。
五、布置作業(yè)
1.背誦Grammar Focus部分。
2.復(fù)習(xí)介詞加動詞-ing形式的用法。endprint
