福布斯中國評選中國最大空調(diào)制造企業(yè)董事長為中國最杰出女商人。在《福布斯》評選的中國100強女商人榜單中，格力電器董事長董明珠排在首位，其次是華為公司董事長孫亞芳。排在第三位的是阿里巴巴旗下螞蟻金服集團董事長彭蕾。《福布斯》根據(jù)企業(yè)規(guī)模、管理、影響力和員工數(shù)量來確定排名。

Forbes China has named the chairwoman of China’s largest air conditioning manufacturer the most outstanding businesswoman in the country.Gree Electric Appliances chairwoman Dong Mingzhu topped Forbes list of China’s top 100 businesswomen, followed by Sun Yafang, chairwoman of Huawei Technologies.The third place is Lucy Peng, chairwoman of Ant Financial Services Group, the payment affiliate of Alibaba Group Holdings Ltd.The magazine determines the ranking based on the companies’ scale, management, influence and numbers of employees.

Chinese Train Manufacturer Wins US Metro Deal

A total of 134 trains will be purchased for the project. The 134 new trains will be put into operation in 2023, according to the Boston Globe. Jeffrey Gonneville, CEO of the MBTA, said the vehicles are expected to cut intervals between trains from between four and five minutes to just three. This change will facilitate the transport over 10,000 passengers per hour.

Scientist Becomes MIT’s Youngest Chinese Tenured Professor’s Defense Ministry

34歲的科學家張峰將和其他4名科學家一起被提升為麻省理工理學院終身教授，打破了錢學森的紀錄（錢學森35歲成為終身教授）。作為麻省理工史上最年輕的華人終身教授，張峰對科學事業(yè)非常熱衷，而他也致力于開發(fā)工具來更好地理解神經(jīng)系統(tǒng)功能和疾病。他開發(fā)了可以用于對包括人類細胞等真核細胞的基因組編輯的工具。

34-year-old Chinese scientist Zhang Feng was one of five scientists to be promoted to a tenured position at the MIT School of Science, breaking the record set by Qian Xuesen, who was tenured at the age of 35.As the youngest Chinese tenured professor in the history of MIT, Zhang is keen about the life sciences, and he is focused on developing tools to better understand nervous system function and disease. He has pioneered the development of genome editing tools for use in eukaryotic cells, including human cells.
