不定式、v-ing形式和過去分詞統(tǒng)稱為非謂語動詞，它們在句中做狀語、定語、賓語、表語、主語或賓語補足語。使用非謂語動詞時，我們要看“領頭羊”。

所謂看“領頭羊”，實際上就是看非謂語動詞的前面是什么詞語、什么結構或什么句型。英語中，非謂語動詞的用法是有一定規(guī)則的。例如，在動詞enjoy后要接v-ing形式做賓語，表示“喜歡做某事”。但在動詞wish后則要接帶to的不定式做賓語，表示“希望做某事”。由此可見，辨用非謂語形式時，看“領頭羊”的方法是至關重要的，也是十分有效的。

一、“領頭”的是介詞時，后面的非謂語用v-ing形式。另外，be / get used to（習慣于），look forward to（盼望），pay attention to（注意），stick to（堅持）等短語中的to屬于介詞，因此后面的非謂語也都是用v-ing形式。

【易錯警示】

used to，have to，be able to，ought to，in order to，so as to等短語中的to屬于不定式符號，后面要接動詞原形。

三、“領頭”的是busy，worth等形容詞及短語feel like時，后面的非謂語用v-ing形式，分別表示“忙于做某事”“某事值得做”和“想要做某事”。

如果是被動式，make后面的賓語補足語則要帶to。另外，have沒有被動式，let很少用被動式。

八、“領頭”的是stop，forget，remember等動詞時，后面既可接不帶to的不定式，也可接v-ing形式。區(qū)別在于：

●stop doing sth. 表示“停止做某事”；stop to do sth. 表示“停下來去做另一件事”。

●forget doing sth. 表示“忘記做過某事”；forget to do sth. 表示“忘記去做某事”。

●remember doing sth. 表示“記得做過某事”；remember to do sth. 表示“記著去做某事”。

九、“領頭”的是see， watch， notice， hear等感官動詞時，后面的賓語補足語既可接不帶to的不定式，也可接v-ing形式。區(qū)別在于：

●接不帶to的不定式時，表示“經(jīng)常看到或聽到某人做某事”或“看到或聽到某事發(fā)生的全過程”。

●接v-ing形式時，表示“看到或聽到的動作正在進行”。
