在英語學(xué)習(xí)中，冠詞的用法是一個(gè)重點(diǎn)，也是高考?？嫉囊粋€(gè)考點(diǎn)。定冠詞和不定冠詞的使用我們比較熟悉，但零冠詞（即名詞前不加冠詞）的使用常被我們所忽視，易出現(xiàn)誤用的情況?，F(xiàn)將零冠詞的使用情況歸納如下，以期對(duì)同學(xué)們有所幫助。

1. 兩個(gè)名詞指代同一個(gè)人時(shí)，后一個(gè)名詞前不用冠詞。

It is said that the singer and dancer will come here the day after tomorrow.

據(jù)說那位歌唱家兼舞蹈家后天要來這里。

2. 在as引導(dǎo)的讓步狀語從句中，作表語的名詞位于句首時(shí)，名詞前無冠詞。

Child as he is， he can speak English well.

盡管他是一個(gè)小孩子，但他英語講得很好。

Fool as he is， he could not have done such a thing.

即使他很傻，他也不可能做出這樣的事情。

3. 在用作伴隨狀語的獨(dú)立結(jié)構(gòu)中，邏輯主語和相關(guān)名詞前不用冠詞。

I followed him here， and climbed in， sword in hand.

我跟著他來到這兒，手里握著一把劍，爬了進(jìn)來。

He stood there， hat in hand and pipe in mouth.

他站在那兒，手拿禮帽，嘴含煙斗。

4. 在并列使用的名詞前，冠詞常常省略。

They passed bricks from hand to hand.

他們用手傳遞磚塊。

During the next ten years we both worked night and day to pay for it.

在后來的10年間，我們?yōu)榱诉€債日夜工作。

5. term前常不用冠詞。

Term is over.

學(xué)期已經(jīng)結(jié)束了。

We begin term on September.

我們九月開學(xué)。

6. turn用作系動(dòng)詞表示“變成”時(shí)，后面作表語的名詞前無冠詞。

He said that he would never turn traitor.

他說他決不會(huì)變成叛徒。

His wish is to turn singer.

他的愿望是成為一個(gè)歌唱家。

注意 當(dāng)作表語的名詞前有形容詞修飾時(shí)，則該名詞前常有不定冠詞修飾。

My sister turned a great writer.

我姐姐成了一位偉大的作家。

7. kind of，sort of，type of后面的名詞一般不用冠詞。

They might learn what kind of animal it was by touching and feeling it.

通過觸摸他們也許會(huì)知道他們是什么動(dòng)物。

The officers saw that he was just the right sort of man， so they accepted him.

軍官們看出他恰巧是他們所要找的那種人，就接納了他。

8. 一些表示職務(wù)、職業(yè)、職位、身份、學(xué)位、地位等的名詞在句中作表語、賓語補(bǔ)足語、同位語及介詞的賓語時(shí)，習(xí)慣上不與冠詞連用。

In 1860 Lincoln was president of the U.S.A.

1860年林肯當(dāng)選為美國總統(tǒng)。

He is captain of the basketball team.

他是籃球隊(duì)隊(duì)長。

Chen Hu is made monitor of our class.

陳虎當(dāng)選為我們班的班長。

9. 當(dāng)bike， car， bus train， boat， plane， ship等與by連用表示一種交通方式時(shí)，不用冠詞，且不用復(fù)數(shù)形式。

Did you come back by plane or by train ？

你是乘飛機(jī)還是乘火車回來的？

I went there on foot.

我是步行去那兒的。

10. word表示“消息”，nature表示“自然，自然界”時(shí)，常不用冠詞。

Word came that we would hold sports meeting the next week.

傳來消息說，我們將于下個(gè)星期舉行運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)。

When is nature at its best？

自然界什么時(shí)候最美？

11. man， woman表示泛指時(shí)，常不用冠詞。

Man will change nature.

人類將改變自然。

12. 當(dāng)no用作形容詞修飾名詞，或與such連用修飾名詞時(shí)，名詞前常不用冠詞。

Little Tom has no pencil.

小湯姆沒有鉛筆。

There is no such boy.

沒有這樣的男孩。

13. 書名、標(biāo)題前常不用冠詞。

Do you have From Earth to Moon？

你有《從地球到月亮》這本書嗎？

Have you read Oliver Twist？

你讀過《霧都孤兒》這本書嗎？

14. 在球類、棋類、游戲及疾病名詞前常不用冠詞。

My brother likes playing basketball.

我哥哥喜歡打籃球。

Lets play chess.

咱們下棋吧。

He has got high blood pressure.

他有高血壓。

15. 在表示季節(jié)、語言、學(xué)科、三餐飯（泛指）的名詞及一些表示抽象或一般意義的時(shí)間、地點(diǎn)名詞前常不用冠詞。

at dawn/daybreak/dusk/night/noon/sunset

in bed/church/prison/town

at school/college/sea/home

Trees turn green in spring.

樹木春天變綠。

Tom is good at physics.

湯姆物理學(xué)得好。

She can speak English freely.

她能自如地講英語。

Have you had lunch？

你吃過午飯了嗎？
